According to the "United News Network", the China Peaceful Reunification Promotion Association will hold a march to promote the "1992 Consensus" in Taichung on the afternoon of the 13th, convening nearly 100 parade vehicles to march from the Taichung Port convoy to Taichung Station, with a total length of 37 kilometers. The "2019 Peaceful Reunification and Integrated Development Forum" will also be held on the same day.
Taiwan authorities' "Ministry of the Interior" quickly came out to argue that the march should not endanger "national security" and social stability, and will strictly enforce the law for acts that hurt "sovereignty".
Taiwan's "Ministry of the Interior" Chen Zongyan also threatened that he could not accept "foreign forces" interfering with "national security", "especially China". He also said that the police unit will enforce the law strictly and will never allow illegal acts to occur.
This attitude caused a rebound for the people on the island. Taiwanese netizens scolded the Taiwan authorities for their dual standards, "If you say unification is not possible, just 'Taiwan independence'? Are you lying to children? It's too funny to speak righteously!"

At the event site, the five-star red flag fluttered in the wind, interpreting the Party’s demand to promote the Party’s “one family on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and hope that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait will be unified”. However, during the rally, the Taipei police were warned six times, and the rally participants were warned four times, and the president of the General Promotion Party Zhang Anle was also warned twice after he arrived. Lu Guang, director of the Joint Service Office of Kaohsiung , once said at the time that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait will inevitably be unified in the end. The current DPP authorities do not even recognize the "1992 Consensus". Since they shout "Taiwan independence", why can't we shout unification?
