China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and the Kurna Navy Shipyard in Bangladesh officially signed an agreement to build five latest offshore patrol ships for the Bangladesh Navy through direct sales of core equipment and technology transfer. This is also the 12th warship imported by the Bangladesh Navy from China.

C13B light frigate was launched in 2018 and began to be gradually delivered to the Bangladesh Navy.

The military level of the C13B light frigate is roughly the same as that of the 56 light frigate used by the Chinese Navy. The ship's displacement is 610 tons. It officially joined the combat sequence of the Bangladeshi Navy in 2013. Because the displacement has exceeded 500 tons, it barely falls into the ranks of "ships".

"Yellowstone" missile frigate
This ship's standard displacement is 1,700 tons, full load displacement is 2,100 tons, and its maximum speed can reach 30 knots. It is equipped with a C-801 anti-ship missile, which is a high-speed anti-ship frigate. The only disadvantage is that the ship only has air-to-air warning radar , but is not equipped with air defense missiles, and its air defense capabilities are very weak.
053H1 frigate
This ship transferred a ship to the original " Xiangtan " frigate of the Chinese Navy. The "Xiangtan" frigate is a meritorious frigate. It once sank a Vietnamese armed transport ship in the Sino-Vietnam Naval Battle .

After being sold to the Bangladesh Navy, the ship was renamed the "Ottoman" frigate and was equipped with four anti-ship missiles SY-1A. Although the tonnage is close to 2,000 tons, it is too old and its comprehensive combat strength is not strong.
Other Type 6 ships
Other Type 6 ships are either too small tonnage or are not front-line combat ships.
