On December 1, at the construction site of Huyu No. 2 Bridge located in Mangshi, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, as the construction staff of China Railway Third Bureau successfully hoisted and placed the first T-beam on the bridge pier, the section of Darui Railway Baoshan to Ruili officially opened the beam construction curtain, marking that the entire line of construction has entered an important section.
The first T-beam erected in Baorui section this time is 32 meters long and weighs 134 tons. It adopts the domestic advanced and stable NFD180t type erection machine. Its erection accuracy can reach a longitudinal error of no more than 20 mm and a lateral error of no more than 10 mm.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the beam mount work in Baorui section, the construction personnel conducted practical drills on all aspects of the T beam erection in advance and repeatedly deduced the T beam transportation process; the beam making yard has introduced advanced steel bar processing, automatic spraying and maintenance and other complete sets of equipment, and implemented full-process monitoring of each process such as vertical formwork, steel bar welding, concrete pouring vibration, mold dismantling, maintenance, transportation and storage beams, to ensure the excellent quality of each T beam.
Wen Jiangang, project manager of Darui Manager Department of China Railway Third Bureau, told reporters that in order to ensure the progress of the project, they will select the beam making yard to be at the Mangshi West Station of Darui Railway, which is close to the construction site. The beam making yard can prefabricate 3 T beams every day, and 165 finished T beams have been prefabricated. After the bridge erection starts today, more than 4 T beams can be erected on average every day to ensure that the beam setting is steadily promoted according to the construction plan.
Darui Railway Baorui Section Bridge-tunnel ratio is as high as 69.76%, and a total of 689 holes and 1378 pieces of T beams need to be erected. With the completion of the first T-beam erection of the Huyu No. 2 Bridge, it marks the full rollout of the entire line of the Baorui section of the Darui Railway, and the manufacturing, transportation and beam formation have entered a virtuous cycle, providing strong guarantees for the subsequent efficient promotion of project construction.
Darui Railway is about 330 kilometers long. It is an important project for improving the road network layout and developing the western part of . It is a large-scale land transportation capacity channel for China to connect with Myanmar and other Indochina Peninsula countries and lead to the Indian Ocean. After is completed, it will end the history of no trains in ethnic minority settlements such as Baoshan and Dehong in Yunnan Province. By then, the railway travel time from Dali to Ruili will be shortened from 6 to 7 hours of road transportation to more than 2 hours; and it only takes about 4 and a half hours to get from Kunming to Ruili.
