With the end of the 2018-2019 NBA regular season, the probability of each team in the lottery zone winning the No. 1 pick and the top four picks are also released. This year is the first draft after the changes to the Lotto draft rules. Since the top three teams ranked last in the regular season have the same probability of drawing the No. 1 pick, the ownership of the No. 1 pick will be even more confusing.

The following is a comparison of the old and new lottery draw rules:
1. Under the old rules, the probability of the team ranked last in the regular season winning the No. 1 pick is 25%, the probability of the team second to last is 19.9%, and the probability of the team third to last is 15.6%. Under the new rules, the probability of the top three teams winning the No. 1 pick is 14%.
2. The lottery draw will be expanded from the original draw of only the top three picks to only the top four picks. After the draw, other lottery draws will be arranged in reverse order of the results.
3. Teams with the lowest record in the league will receive a fourth pick at the lowest, and the new proposal will become the lowest pick at the fifth pick. Teams with slightly better record than the lowest pick will also decrease in order. This means that the second-worst team will get a sixth pick at the lowest, and so on.
The following is the lottery probability of this year's lottery team:

2019 NBA Lotto lottery conference will be held in Chicago on May 14. Currently, two draft favorites, RJ Barrett and Cameron Reddish of Duke University, have announced their participation in this year's draft, and their teammates, Zion Williamson, are not sure whether they will participate in the draft for the time being.
