In order to win the "nine-in-one" election at the end of the year, the Democratic Progressive Party under Tsai Ing-wen's rule could not provide "beef" to solve the problems of improving people's livelihood such as anti-epidemic, unemployment, and high housing prices, so it continued to play the "anti-China card". This time it was not about the opponent saying "anti-China", but it played a small trick - forcing candidates who supported cross-strait exchanges (here is not limited to the blue camp and united factionists, but even the People's Party and non-party members) to sign the "no surrender letter" when the mainland attacked Taiwan. If the above candidates refuse to sign, the DPP and their "1450" cyber army will spread fake news in the sky, fabricate all kinds of fake news, and label these people as "passers-to-people in China."
In fact, no one is surprised by the DPP's practice of not being able to get the upper hand. Before the "2022-Taipei Twin Cities Forum" held not long ago, the Central Committee of the DPP and Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council warned Taipei Mayor Ke Wen-je , hinting that Taipei City Cancel the forum. At that time, the Taipei City Council member from the DPP even proposed to freeze and reduce the Taipei City Government's expenditure budget in order to prevent the forum from being held normally. However, Ko Wen-je ignored the threat from the DPP from top to bottom, and the Shanghai and Taipei Forums were finally held successfully as scheduled.
Because of the plain words "One family on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is better than one family, and communication is better than not not", the Democratic Progressive Party has been criticized by the DPP for saying "There are always better than one family's relatives, and communication is always better than not."
Just recently, Taipei City Councilman Lin Yingmeng from the Democratic Progressive Party asked Ke Wen-je to sign a "commitment letter to defend Taiwan and never surrender". In response, Ke Wen-je angrily retorted, saying that the other party was not qualified. Ko Wen-je issued a reminder that "protecting Taiwan" does not need to be associated with "resisting China" and should not lose the love of mainland people for Taiwan.
: Ko Wen-je directly swears and drives people out of power, and the DPP actually says that Ko Wen-je is guilty and dares not sign.
It should be pointed out that the DPP authorities and the "Taiwan independence" elements on the island have always linked "anti-China" with "protecting Taiwan", but as Ko Wen-je said, "protecting Taiwan" does not need to be associated with "resisting China". Moreover, can "anti-China" really "protect Taiwan"? The word "protecting Taiwan" has a tendency in itself. I don't know who threatens Taiwan and needs the DPP to protect it. The Taiwanese hometown bravely promoted the "protecting Taiwan" in the late Qing Dynasty because of resisting the Japanese invasion. Taiwan has always been part of China. Taiwan's return is the common wish of the Chinese on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and it is the complete reunification of their own country, and there is no problem of "protecting Taiwan".
Therefore, looking for hype about the so-called "anti-China and Taiwan" is nothing more than an excuse for the DPP authorities to seek the private interests of one party, and to cheat votes for the "nine-in-one" election at the end of the year. At the same time, it is also a means for Tsai Ing-wen and the DPP to further seek "independence".
From requiring candidates to sign a "commitment letter of non-surrender" to the recent recruitment of the so-called "Black Bear Village War" by Cao Xingcheng, a businessman on the island, "protecting Taiwan" has become the political correctness of Taiwan society at present. However, Taiwanese compatriots must face such a topic - does the way of "protecting Taiwan" refer to seeking peaceful protection of the welfare of the Taiwanese people between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, or is it like the bad idea given to the Taiwanese authorities when former US Defense Secretary Esper visited Taiwan in July this year - encouraging Taiwan to "all the people are soldiers" regardless of gender, age and young?
On the one hand, if "protecting Taiwan" is for cross-strait peace, the answer is ready-made. The white paper "Taiwan Issue and China's Unification Cause in the New Era" published not long ago has made a good plan for the future of Taiwan after unification, and the mainland also welcomes all sectors of Taiwan to participate in the arrangements for Taiwan-related affairs after unification. The compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait have the same roots and their blood is thicker than water. The welfare of 23 million Taiwanese compatriots has actually always touched the hearts of the mainland people.
On the other hand, if "protecting Taiwan" is what Esper said to make everyone in Taiwan become "Black Bear Village War", it would be equivalent to asking everyone in Taiwan to fight "street war" and eventually become the human shield of the United States to resist the Chinese People's Liberation Army's breakthrough in the first island chain. The "protecting Taiwan" advocated by Esper is essentially to sacrifice the interests of the Taiwanese people to realize the hegemony of the United States, regardless of the life and death of the Taiwanese people. Most Taiwanese compatriots should understand this ideal.

Another thing worth noting is that more than a month ago, Tsai Ing-wen suddenly affirmed the performance of the People's Liberation Army's artillery attack on the Kinmen Battle during the cross-strait military confrontation in 1958. This move surprised many people. The interpretation of public opinion at that time was mostly because Tsai Ing-wen won over Taiwan officers and soldiers for the end of the year election. In fact, the real intention behind Tsai Ing-wen's move is to lay the foundation for the historical concept of "protecting Taiwan" that is being constructed to reinterpret history.
This point can be seen more clearly from her words and deeds at the commemoration ceremony of the "Yiwei Baotai Battle" held in Taoyuan City in July this year. At that time, in addition to thanking the martyrs, Tsai Ing-wen focused on emphasizing that "the Volunteers fought on the front line, and there were also villagers who helped military rations and provided logistics support."
When talking about the artillery war in 1958, Tsai Ing-wen only talked about "anti-communist protection of Taiwan" and did not mention "one China"; when talking about the -Free War, she only talked about "defending Taiwan" and did not mention "anti-Japanese and anti-colonial". These can basically outline Tsai Ing-wen’s historical outline of “protecting Taiwan”, that is, the Taiwanese people, regardless of gender, age, and age, not only rush to the battlefield, but also have to be ready to go, "all the people are soldiers" and sacrifice their lives to "protect Taiwan". In other words, the idea that Taiwan's "everyone is a soldier" that Esper mentioned is being laid out bit by bit through the detailed writing of new historical views and ideological mobilization of the DPP authorities.
Regarding the resolution of the Taiwan issue, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has publicly announced on many occasions that it has always adhered to the policy of "peaceful reunification, one country, two systems ". Although the mainland has also made it clear that it will not give up its force, it is mainly aimed at external interference forces and "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, not targeting Taiwanese compatriots. When Taiwanese compatriots visited Taiwan from Pelosi, the countermeasures taken by the mainland can also see clearly.
At the moment when the situation in the Taiwan Strait was in danger due to Pelosi's visit, Tsai Ing-wen and the DPP authorities forced their political opponents to sign a "commitment letter of non-surrender", which was both insidious and ridiculous. The insidious point is that they not only aroused confrontation between the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, continued to escalate the situation in the Taiwan Strait, and created a war atmosphere that threatened Taiwan by the mainland, but also used this to suppress political enemies and deceive votes. What's funny is that while the DPP requires its political opponents to sign a letter of non-surrender, it is doing material and combat preparations for its high-ranking officials to escape.
According to Taiwan media reports, after the Taiwanese army purchased 21 Tsai Ing-wen's escape armored vehicle last year, the Taiwan authorities recently spent tens of billions of yuan to purchase special armored vehicles, which was used by senior officials such as Tsai Ing-wen to escape during wartime. It is said that this armored vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour, and in critical moments, it can escape within two minutes. In the daily training of the Taiwan military, escort exercises were also added to help senior officials escape.
At this point, we can already see clearly that the DPP speculates on "anti-China and Taiwan" is actually to demand the votes in the hands of the Taiwanese people, and at the same time achieve the goal of "seeking independence". If they really "anti-China and Taiwan", Tsai Ing-wen and the DPP can take the lead in signing the "No Escape Commitment Letter". Moreover, from now on, Tsai Ing-wen immediately deleted the "escape clause" listed in the "Han Guang Exercise" of the Taiwan Army in the name of the head of the "Three Armies", and immediately blocked all escape channels, and took the initiative to order all dignitaries to give up the "small card" of escape issued by the Taiwan "national security unit" that was recently exposed by the media to show their determination to live with the same island. But do Tsai Ing-wen and senior DPP officials dare?
