China Taiwan Network reported on April 19 that according to Taiwan media reports, Kuomintang Chairman Jiang Qichen will designate five county and city mayors as members of the Central Standing Committee in accordance with the Party Constitution. Although Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu is in the dilemma of "stop South Korea", he still supports each other and agrees to take over as the designated member of the Central Standing Committee.
Han Kuo-yu said at noon on the 18th that he knew that this decision would attract attacks from the deceased party, but he was not for himself, but because no one of the eight seats in Kaohsiung’s public opinion representatives is from the Kuomintang. In the lack of support from the Taiwan authorities, including land acquisition of the Love Ferris wheel and major construction subsidies, his current situation is "to be called "don't answer every day, and to be called "don't work." He hopes to use the mayor of Kaohsiung to spread the needs of the southern people to the Kuomintang Central Committee, and ask the Party Central Committee to speak out for Kaohsiung on major construction. Han Kuo-yu said that the decision-making class of the Kuomintang central government should be closer to the south. He can play a bridge role, convey the voices of the southern residents and party members, and help the party’s reforms become more down-to-earth. In addition, although he took over as the designated member of the Central Standing Committee, he did not attend in person every meeting.
