According to Xinhua News Agency, a spokesperson for Taiwan’s administrative department introduced that the 6.5-magnitude earthquake in Hualien, Taiwan on the night of the 6th, killed 114 people and injured.
The earthquake caused several buildings in Hualien to collapse, among which the Tongshuo Hotel was severely dumped, and the first and second floors were trapped underground. The search and rescue personnel of Hualien Fire Department set up a ladder to search and rescue the hotel. The person in charge of the search and rescue team said that the hotel had been searched and rescued from the 4th to 8th floors and no casualties were found.
