In the second critical stage, students will continue to gain experience in language, mathematics, science, humanities, society, sports, aesthetics and creative education, and have the opportunity to learn and make progress. Bring the topic into student life through project work, presentations and exhibitions, focusing on other areas of science, mathematics and the curriculum.

Children continue to advance through carefully curated curriculum themes, continuing to push critical thinking to the greatest extent, focusing on the critical communication skills, problem-solving and teamwork skills required in the 21st century. schools follow the UK national curriculum, subjects and teaching methods will be adjusted with best practices in the UK and Malaysia. The school actively encourages teachers and students to be self-disciplined, upright and pursue excellence.
School encourages students to desire personal success and realize their social and academic potential. The school is proud of its traditional values, but this does not mean that the school’s teaching is teacher-centered, nor is it those focused course content and teaching methods, or that students must master knowledge through study and practice (such as rote memorization).
On the contrary, the development of skills and the cultivation of attitude towards inquiries about things are the core of teaching work. Therefore, the school strives to provide students with an atmosphere of real learning. The school believes that an ideal learning environment will no longer depend on expensive facilities but more on the atmosphere of the school. Creating such an atmosphere requires understanding what students are thinking, what their interests are and the knowledge and abilities required to achieve their goals.
elc provides affordable and high-quality British education, and teachers work hard to make their children comprehensive individuals and prepare them for the challenges of adult life.

Lower grade stage
0
Lower grades of primary school consist of early basic stages and the first key stages. The nurturing environment in which students are in encourage them to be curious about the world around them.
In addition to the basic knowledge of art and design, basic knowledge such as English, geography, history, Malay, music, arithmetic, PSED (personal, social and emotional development), sports and science also laid the foundation for their continued academic development. This helps children learn how to deal with the non-academic challenges that posed before them.
Primary Grade Stages
Elementary School Seniors is a transitional stage between having fun and more serious work. The study schedule for the upper grades of primary school reflects the balance between academic learning and non-academic development.
English, mathematics and science constitute the core course part, and the addition of history, geography, computer science, second language, art and design, music, drama and sports further expands the scope of learning.
elc attaches great importance to the learning of second languages and requires students to learn two foreign languages. The learning of these languages includes beginners, intermediate classes and advanced classes.
Middle school stage
0
In the middle school department, students will experience a more serious school life. Learning becomes more based on inquiry and problem-solving, which increases the opportunity for independent learning, allowing them to make informed choices and decisions on their own. The academic goal of the middle school department is to prepare students for IGCSE exams to take in grades 10 and 11. Subject selection in IGCSE must be performed before the student enters the 10th grade. Proper subject selection is an important determinant that determines the overall grade level of students and their future career choice. Therefore, the school provides students and parents with advice on the combination and number of subjects for the IGCSE exam. At elc does not divide students into science and arts.
