Many of the newly built large-scale projects, including commerce and entertainment, are basically based on the north of Tianjun Bridge as the development site. For example, the newly built Beichuan Wanda Plaza, Beichuan River Wetland Park, Beichuan Happy Valley, Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Xining University of Science and Technology and other projects, why is the Beichuan area developing better north of Tianjun Bridge?
The main reason is that there are many open spaces on the east side of Ningzhang Road north of Tianjun Bridge, especially on the east side of Ningzhang Road. For example, Greenland, Country Garden, Wanda, Chengbei International Village, Ximine Bailuzhou, and Chengbei District Comprehensive Service Center are all on the west side of Ningzhang Road. The vacant land is relatively low compared to the old city and there is no need to deal with demolition and other issues.

Small Bridge, as the most prosperous and the center of Chengbei District, feels like it has entered the old age. Xiaoqiao Street still maintains its image for more than ten years, as if it has been forgotten by the development of modern fashion trends. The business format that has remained unchanged for more than ten years, the hawking sounds, noises, and endless traffic flows are still the lively image of the streets of small county towns.
Xiaoqiao Street Market
For Xiaoqiao, Xining City North, Xiaoqiao Street Market is the most typical representative. There are vegetable markets, fish and birds, aquatic products, clothes markets, and food cities. However, the Xiaoqiao Market is too long (I originally checked the construction age, but I really couldn't find it), and there are great safety hazards. Moreover, the old market has seriously affected the city appearance. Xiaoqiao Street used to be blocked in the morning and evening rush hour every day. Recently, the direct construction of Menyuan Road has been slightly relieved.
Many people are concerned about the future planning of Xiaoqiao Street, especially where the Xiaoqiao Market will go. So far, there is no news about the relocation of Xiaoqiao Market. What you can see is the planning of the Xiaoqiao Menyuan Road area. If Xiaoqiao Market will settle down in Chengbei District in the future, then the Menyuan Road area will definitely be the best arrangement.

Menyuan Road area starts from Menyuan Road to Tianjun Bridge in the south, and from Xiaoqiao Street to Haihu Avenue in the east. Among them, the Begonia Park is a specialized park with the theme of Begonia. The planned area is 264 mu. The A7 plot consists of the Shenna ruins and four museums, including a library, a museum, an art gallery, and a cultural center. Some of the main bodies of the venues have almost come out. The demolition has been basically completed from Menyuan Road to the west side of Sunshine Lijing Road, except for Menyuan Road and the northwest corner of Xiaoqiao Street, some residential buildings have not been demolished yet.

Among them, it can be seen that the commercial land in Menyuan Road area, that is, B1, accounts for a large part, especially the commercial land opposite Sunshine and Lijing accounts for a large part. This piece of land may be very good as the relocation site of the Xiaoqiao Market, but this piece of land in the future will definitely not be as LOW as the previous Xiaoqiao Market, and it may not be necessary to build it into a Shuijing Lane Business Plaza.

and other later China Sea Country Garden business formats will be added to Jingyue Apartment Business District and Minhuicheng Business District. The Menyuan Road area in the future will definitely be one of the relatively prosperous areas.
Menyuan Road area
The original business district of Xiaoqiao Street will definitely undergo major rectification in the later stage. This is inevitable. The current business status of Xiaoqiao Business District in Chengbei cannot meet the consumption of residents in the newly emerging section of Menyuan West Road. People still need modern business to meet their consumption habits. An obvious example is that before Wanda and Limeng rose, Ximen was a place where everyone went to consume. With Wanda and Limeng coming together, it is obvious that there will be much less abortions in Ximen and Dashi.
So the future development of Xiaoqiao Street market and even the Xiaoqiao Business District depends on the development of the Menyuan Road area in the future. In addition, the rise of the Wanda, Greenland, and Biological Park business district in Beichuan New District, as the gateway to Chengbei District and other Menyuan Road areas, Xiaoqiao Business District will definitely face demolition and rectification problems. The development of a city must keep up with the development of the times, but Xiaoqiao Business District is an old urban area and faces great problems, including demolition and resettlement, post-planning and construction, etc.Therefore, there will be no major changes in the Xiaoqiao Business District for a while, but it will definitely change in the future.
