According to the latest information in the "Provincial Bureau Leader" column of Qinghai Provincial Market Supervision Administration, Wang Yaochun has served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Market Supervision Administration.

Wang Yaochun was appointed Secretary of the Huangnan Prefecture Party Committee in April 2021. Reports in April this year showed that he had stepped down.

May 2019 report showed that Wang Yaochun has served as director of the Office of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee Organization and Staffing Committee.
In April 2021, Wang Yaochun was transferred to the position of Secretary of the Huangnan Prefecture Party Committee, and has been adjusted recently.
On April 27 this year, Qinghai Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee issued an announcement that the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture decided to accept Wang Yaochun's request to resign from his post as a representative of the 13th Provincial People's Congress.
