Supermarket giant Coles joins the ranks of other well-known brands and begins selling mobile phone services to its customers.
The Times learned that Coles announced on the 19th that the company will resell the prepaid mobile service of SingTel Optus, starting at 10 yuan. This service can connect to 4G networks and provides unlimited call service within a specific package.
Coles announced its entry into the increasingly crowded mobile phone market after its main competitor Woolworths also announced its entry into the mobile phone market in June this year to provide 3G services to customers using Telstra networks. Online retailer Kogan is expected to join forces with Vodafone Hutchison Australia to launch a mobile phone service.
It is reported that Coels mainly launches two packages, one is a package priced at 10 yuan, which lasts for 10 days, including 400 M traffic, unlimited calls and text messages, mainly for short-distance tourists coming to Australia. The other package price is also 10 yuan, lasting 60 days, and a fee of 12 points per text message, traffic and call per minute.
