After years of modeling and performances, Candice Michelle is participating WWE Diva Search was later hired by WWE in 2004. Outside of wrestling, she was called Go Daddy Girl, performing in the company’s annual Super Bowl commercial. In 2007's revenge, she defeated Melina to win her first WWE Women's Championship and became the first former Diva Search player to win the WWE Championship. She terminated the WWE contract on June 19, 2009. She returned to WWE on July 22, 2019, as the second woman to win the WWE 24/7 title.

Beckman was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his father was Michael Beckman (1951–1980) and his wife, Catherine (née Iwen; 1951–2002). Beckman has German and Costa Rican ancestry. She has an older sister, Dana. She has played in college basketball and college basketball teams and has a strong interest in many sports. Candice is a fan of Green Bay Packers .
When he was sixteen, Beckman won the modeling competition at her local ice rink. Around 1999, she moved to Los Angeles, , , California, and became a professional model and actor. She studied the art of theatre at the Santa Monica Academy and received photography performances and Meisner technical training at Pierodusa Performance Studio. It was during this time that Beckman adopted her middle name Michelle as her working surname. She appeared on numerous bodybuilding and car magazines such as FLEX and Lowrider magazines, and was named the Web Girl of the Week in Playboy magazine in June 2002, and from 2006 she worked as a fetish model named Mackenzie Montgomery. Beckman also appeared on TV shows such as "Game of Five", "Seventh Heaven", and appeared in movies such as "Tomcat", "Anger Management", "Doomball" and "The Separate Man".
