Recently, the General Administration of Customs of China found that grouper sold to the mainland in Taiwan contains banned drugs, so it decided to suspend the import of Taiwanese grouper from June 13 to the mainland.
Since the mainland is the largest grouper in Taiwan, and can even be said to be the only customer, after the grouper in Taiwan was banned, this is a catastrophe for the Taiwanese grouper industry. According to Taiwan's Economic Daily on June 12, Su Zhenchang, the head of Taiwan's administrative agency, on the one hand, accused Su Zhenchang, who has always failed to abide by international norms and often guided and controlled everything. Over-reliance on the mainland of China in the past, which was placed in the same basket, would be subject to their political extortion and blackmail." On the other hand, he lowered his attitude and said: "Taiwan has always been kind-hearted. As long as it is reciprocity, reciprocity, and no political premise, we are willing to have good intentions with the mainland. There is no need for Taiwan to close the door to cross-strait exchanges."
However, Su Zhenchang's so-called "good intention exchanges" are completely inconsistent with the facts. Since the DPP authorities came to power in 2016, the key reason for the continued regression of cross-strait relations is that the Tsai administration refuses to recognize " 1992 Consensus " and continues to create obstacles to normal exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait in multiple fields such as economy, trade, humanities and other fields.
DPP authorities previously stated that appointing Qiu Taisan as the "cross-strait affairs supervisor" and other personnel arrangements is to "release goodwill" to the mainland, which is very nice to say: "The two sides of the Taiwan Strait need to understand each other and resume exchanges." In fact, the DPP authorities continue to implement "de-Sinicization" on the island by restricting, intimidating and even punishing compatriots on Taiwan who support national unity and participate in normal cross-strait exchanges. The above-mentioned "toxins" have penetrated into many fields such as education, scientific research, culture, economy and trade and agriculture between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and their destructive power has been significantly enhanced.

First, block dialogue and communication between high-level scholars on both sides of the Taiwan Strait by blocking academic exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. A typical case is that Li Duzhong, a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Taiwan University, was found to have violated relevant regulations and fined by the education authorities of the Taiwan authorities for presiding over the mainland scientific research plan. The Taiwan authorities' Mainland Affairs Department also claimed that it will "continue to work with relevant authorities to investigate and deal with similar situations."
In addition, the " Tsinghua Strait Research Institute " and "Tsinghua Strait Research Institute Hsinchu Office" jointly established by the Xiamen Municipal Government, Tsinghua University and the Tsinghua University Alumni Association in Taiwan on the Tsinghua University campus were founded by relevant departments in Taiwan to violate the "Cross-Strait Regulations" and were required to stop operations immediately and fined NT$4.1 million.
The second is to prevent young Taiwanese people from developing in the mainland. The labor management department of the Taiwan authorities has notified all types of intermediary agencies on the island that they do not allow the publication of recruitment information from the mainland and prohibited helping Taiwanese youth to work in the mainland. The DPP authorities' economic affairs department said that the DPP is currently deploying a "key technology team" to review the investment of Taiwanese companies in the mainland.
Third, the current DPP authorities restrict civil exchanges between people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. On the eve of the 13th Straits Forum, the Taiwan authorities' mainland affairs department issued the so-called "policy statement", proposed a series of bans, and issued "cross-strait regulations and related regulations" and "social perception and public opinion on the island", to intimidate people and organizations participating in cross-strait exchanges.
Taiwanese students participated in the "First Cross-Strait Youth Good Family Style and Good Family Instructions Essay Competition" held by Pingtan , and were also threatened by the Taiwan authorities' mainland affairs department "will investigate and deal with if they violate relevant regulations or regulations." In addition, iQiyi also officially ended its business in Taiwan. Its Taiwanese agent issued a statement saying that the move was caused by the "long-term unfriendly attitude" of the Taiwan authorities, "this is an inevitable result of political power over everything."
During the National Day last year, the DPP authorities also slandered and intimidated Taiwanese artists who sent blessings to the motherland during the National Day.
"Reverse every unity" and "reverse every land" are the current DPP authorities' most realistic attitude towards the mainland. I'm afraid that even I don't believe what Su Zhenchang said.
As for why the DPP authorities are afraid of the mainland, there are two reasons:
First, the DPP authorities are afraid that the people on the island will truly and objectively understand the mainland, especially the development achievements and powerful strength accumulated by the mainland over the past decades. These understandings will directly expose the DPP authorities' "big internal propaganda" and "Taiwan independence" dreams.
Second, the DPP authorities have gradually eliminated the strategic determination and strategic confidence of the mainland. On cross-strait issues, the mainland has always firmly grasped the dominance and initiative. On the one hand, we "show our power" to the Taiwan authorities and continuously strengthen the deterrence of the "Taiwan independence" forces on the island. On the other hand, we "support our benefits" to the Taiwanese people, promote cross-strait exchanges to overcome difficulties and continue to deepen cross-strait economic and social integration, strive for peaceful reunification with the greatest sincerity and efforts, and have been widely supported by knowledgeable people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
The latest poll data from the United Daily News on the island media on Taiwan shows that the current dissatisfaction of the people on the island with the Tsai Ing-wen authorities has risen to 48%. It can be seen that no matter how the situation in the Taiwan Strait changes, the times and momentum are always on the mainland, which will ultimately be conducive to the power of national reunification. The wheel of history of the complete reunification of the motherland rolls forward, which cannot be stopped by anyone or any force.
And Su Zhenchang, Tsai Ing-wen and others will eventually be nailed to the pillar of shame in history.
