Our school’s rowing team won the admission ticket for the 2018 World College Rowing Championship
From June 11 to 13, the 2018 National College Rowing Championship and the 2018 World College Rowing Championship domestic selection competition jointly organized by the General Administration of Sports Water Sports Center, the China College Students Sports Association and other units kicked off in Haihe, Tianjin.
Our school’s rowing team performed stably in the competition and cooperated tacitly to win the women’s open four-single championship in the National College Rowing Championship, the men’s lightweight four-single championship, the men’s open four-single runner-up, the women’s eight-man single paddle with helmsman 2000m runner-up, and the team’s total score was third.
Among them, the women's open four-selected and the men's lightweight four-selected four-selected successfully won the ticket to the 2018 World College Rowing Championship, and will represent China in August this year.

On July 24, the final of the 8th National College Students’ Mechanical Innovation Design Competition ended in Zhejiang University of Technology .
A team composed of teachers and students of our school’s School of Mechanical Engineering competed with Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Beijing Institute of Technology and other universities. They did not fear strong players and performed well. On the morning of June 2, the launch ceremony of the 2018 China-US Youth Maker Competition Tianjin Competition was successfully concluded at the Hilton Hotel in China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City.
2018 China-US Youth Maker Competition Tianjin District has received registration applications from 468 makers from 258 teams in 6 provinces and cities including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
Our school actively promotes, relying on the Sino-US Youth Maker Exchange Center, co-creation space and innovation and entrepreneurship platform resources of various colleges, to support various maker teams to participate in the competition. A total of 85 maker teams in the school have signed up for the competition.
