In 2011, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government, Jiangsu Province New Taipei Modern Agricultural Industrial Park was established.
In 2015, Jiangsu New Taipei Modern Agricultural Industrial Park and Menghe Town implemented the "park and town integration" management system and mechanism and jointly operated . Since the completion of the park,
, the park has been strived for support funds of all levels of the state, provincial and municipal levels, and has continuously increased investment at the district and town levels, with more than 78 million yuan of investment, and has achieved full coverage of 23,000 mu of high-standard farmland, and the construction effect of 5,000 mu of core areas has been remarkable.
At present, the park has introduced nearly 50 agricultural enterprises including Auntie New Agriculture, Vegetable Root Xiang, Tiandao Agriculture, Fengtu Hi-Tech, Tianhe Pastoral, Tianrun Materia Medica and Hannong Lujia, focusing on developing three pillar industries such as high-quality rice, organic vegetables, and high-quality flower seedlings.
Bicycle Greenway
New Taipei Modern Agricultural Industrial Park ( Menghe Town) Bicycle Greenway is built based on the main functions of "Lekai Menghe, Wandering the Farm" , collecting the existing road network conditions and resource distribution, and adopting the "ring layout" greenway structure model to form the greenway leisure service grid structure of "one heart, one main, second, and multiple points" .
This time, the total ring of the roaming farm greenway is 9 kilometers long. It takes the park’s public service building as the core starting point, and combines the construction of the station, ground spraying, greening transformation, logo system, and cycling sculptures to create the visual landscape characteristics of the farm greenway, so that tourists can feel the unique cultural and environmental atmosphere of the agricultural park during leisure and fun cycling.
Park Service Center
Park Service Center began construction in 2015, with a construction area of 1,700 square meters and a total investment of about 9.8 million yuan. It includes the main building of the management service center, solar photovoltaic roof, modern agricultural display center, training center, monitoring center, landscape engineering and other . It has now been completed and put into use. The construction of the
park service center better connects the park's enterprises and becomes a platform for display by various agricultural enterprises, reflecting the development level of modern agriculture in the whole town and even the entire district. While providing high-quality services to various agricultural enterprises, the park service center also regularly conducts agricultural knowledge and business skills training for agricultural entrepreneurs, professional farmers, surrounding people, etc.
Next step, the park service center will also build an agricultural product quality and safety testing station in New Taipei District, a park enterprise trade union, and an industry-university-research cooperation platform for universities such as Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, and Yangzhou University , and gradually improve its functions.
