A certain Bulls fan has a theory that explains the various things between Butler and Thibodeau . At that time, Butler's rookie contract was about to end. The Bulls management was very clear about how strong Butler had become, so they asked Thibodeau to reduce Butler's playing time to lower his value after entering the free agent market.

Thibs was basically like 'fuck that' and played Jimmy and he got a contract that he deserved and that's why Jimmy likes/liked Thibs (do they still like each other?). The dude I read it from presented more evidence than I did which made it believe
