Your expectations are the direction of our efforts
In order to allow children to have more spacious classrooms and enjoy more convenient schooling conditions, we have promoted the construction of the "Double Hundred Project" for primary and secondary schools and kindergartens for three consecutive years, and a total of 780 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens have been newly built, renovated and expanded, and the operating conditions have been greatly improved; 11 counties and districts have newly built, renovated and expanded high-standard campuses (school buildings), and the development environment of vocational education has been further optimized; Qingdao University of Science and Technology Linyi New Campus Construction Project has been smoothly promoted, effectively promoting the vigorous development of higher education in our city.
In order to allow children to enjoy better and more fair educational resources, we actively promote the rectification of supporting kindergartens in 299 urban residential areas, and the average charges of private kindergartens in urban areas have been reduced by more than 2,000 yuan; accelerate the construction of preschool education quality improvement projects and Shandong Provincial Game Activity Experimental Zone (Participation) projects to ensure the health and happiness of young children; establish 112 education groups, covering 353 schools, and more children enjoy high-quality education at their doorsteps; insist on compulsory education to be admitted nearby without examination, to ensure that migrant children should be admitted, and the enrollment rate in high school has increased year by year; fully complete the large class size resolution task, resolve oversized class size and 13,074 large class size, and the crowded classroom environment has become a thing of the past.
In order to equip children with better teachers, we insist on promoting the simultaneous promotion of public recruitment and talent introduction. In 2020, 6,994 teachers were recruited and 48 outstanding graduates from universities such as Beijing Normal University were introduced; the "Teacher Ethics and Style Construction Year" activities and the special governance activities for paid tutoring for in-service teachers were carried out, and 18 "Most Beautiful Teachers" were selected, and 29 teachers were included in the 2020 Shandong Province Rural Excellent Young Teacher Training Reward Plan, and the quality of the teacher team has been newly improved.
The healthy growth and development of children is the focus of our attention
The healthy growth of children has always been the focus of our educational efforts. We insist on online learning, mental health, course connection and other work to ensure that "suspend classes but not learning"; organized 4,915 teachers to return to school early and be fully responsible for the teaching and life management of senior high school students; insisted on opening all courses, and 1,710 schools reasonably arranged the school classroom study time and controlled the amount of after-school homework; comprehensively promoted after-school services in primary and secondary schools, 555,000 students benefited, and achieved 100% on-demand custody for primary school students; accelerated the construction of the curriculum reform experimental zone, and created the first demonstration city for inheriting the red gene in the province. Children from the old Yimeng district thrived in the immersion of red culture; cared about the physical health of children, and strived to let each student master 2 sports skills and 1 artistic expertise; carried out in-depth "six special governance" actions such as school building and facility safety, traffic safety, fire safety, canteen food safety, and campus surrounding environment, and built a safe and harmonious campus.
2020, we survived the huge pressure of epidemic prevention and control, and successfully promoted the resumption of school and classes. All levels fully affirmed our work. 8 students won the first prize of the 34th China Chemistry Olympics (Primary Competition); 3 teachers were named "The Most Beautiful Teacher in Qilu" and "Shandong Province Teaching and Educating Model"; successfully created the National Campus Football Reform Experimental City and held the "2020 China High School Football Championship"; Tancheng No. 1 Middle School Women's Football Team won the eighth consecutive championship of the "Primary and Middle School Sports League Football Competition" in Shandong Province, and Linyi No. 1 Middle School Women's Basketball Team won the third place in the finals of the China High School Basketball League and the championship of the Shandong High School Basketball League; Linyi Finance School won the first prize of the Provincial Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition; successfully held the "Shandong Province Lifelong Learning Activities Week" and the "Shandong Province Game Activities Experimental Zone (Parquet) On-site Experience Meeting".
