At present, the province's new coronavirus vaccination work is being carried out in an orderly manner. In accordance with the relevant work arrangements of the country and our province, from June 10 to 30, the province will mainly carry out the second dose of the new coronavirus vaccine. In order to eliminate many doubts among the people, the Henan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention will provide the latest answers to the hot issues of the second dose of the new coronavirus vaccine.
Also remind everyone that during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, all vaccination sites will go to work normally, and citizens who need to receive the second dose can make an appointment for vaccination normally.

1. Do you have to get a second shot?
can only produce an ideal immune effect after completing the full immunization. From the perspective of individual protective effects, the effect of vaccinating inactivated vaccine is better than that of vaccinating one shot, and one shot is better than that of not vaccinated. Except for one dose of adenovirus vaccination, all other vaccines require the second or third dose to complete the full immunization.
2. If the second shot exceeds the specified time, can I still get it?
Different new coronavirus vaccines have different vaccination doses and vaccination intervals. The determination of doses and intervals is based on scientific data. Only by completing all doses of vaccination according to the national recommended immunization procedure can ideal immunization effects be produced.
If the vaccination within the specified time due to personal reasons, it will increase the risk of infection after exposure and will not affect the protective effect of the vaccine. As long as the re-injection is completed, there is no need to re-injection.
Currently, the number of new coronavirus vaccination doses and vaccination intervals used in our province are as follows:
1 new coronavirus inactivated vaccine (Vero cells)
requires 2 doses of vaccination; the vaccination interval between
2 doses is recommended ≥3 weeks (21 days), and the second dose will be completed as soon as possible within 8 weeks (56 days).
So after you get the first injection for 21 days, please get the second injection as soon as possible to achieve better protective effect as soon as possible.
2 recombinant coronavirus vaccine (CHO cells)
requires 3 doses of vaccination; the vaccination interval between adjacent 2 doses is recommended ≥4 weeks (28 days). The second dose should be completed within 8 weeks (56 days) after the first dose is administered, and the third dose should be completed within 6 months after the first dose is administered.
3 Recombinant Coronavirus Vaccine (type 5 adenovirus vector)
only needs to be vaccinated 1 dose.
3. The second shot has not arrived. Are you worried that there is no vaccine and can you get the vaccine in advance?
can only produce an ideal immunization effect when vaccinating according to the time interval of the immunization procedure. If the interval is not arrived, the second shot cannot be vaccinated in advance. In advance, the best protective effect cannot be achieved.
4. Can the second shot be given in another place?
Can I get vaccinated in the same area but not in the original vaccination unit?
The second shot is best to get vaccinated in the original vaccination unit. If you cannot get vaccinated in the original vaccination unit due to special circumstances such as work or travel, you can also get vaccinated in other vaccination units, but you need to bring the first vaccination certificate.

5. Can the second shot be used for vaccines produced by different manufacturers?
According to the "Technical Guidelines for Vaccination of New Coronavirus (First Edition)", "At this stage, it is recommended to complete vaccination with the same vaccine product. If the vaccine cannot be continued, the recipients are vaccinated in other places, and the same vaccine product cannot be completed with the same vaccine product, the vaccine products of other manufacturers of the same type can be completed with the second shot." That is to say, it is best to use the same manufacturer or the same variety of vaccines. If the conditions do not allow, different manufacturers and the same variety of vaccines can be used. For example, all inactivated vaccines are allowed, which are replaced. However, different varieties of vaccines are not recommended to replace them. For example, inactivated vaccines cannot replace recombinant protein vaccines and adenovirus vaccines.
6. What should I do if I find pregnant after receiving the first shot?
The "Technical Guidelines for Vaccination of New Coronavirus" issued by the National Health Commission clearly states that after vaccination, it is not recommended to take special medical measures only for vaccination of the new coronavirus vaccine, that is, there is no need to terminate the pregnancy. It is recommended to do pregnancy examinations and follow-up.
However, the second dose of the new crown vaccine is recommended to postpone it. Vaccination will be considered after delivery or after lactation and is over.
7. After the first injection, I got sick, and will I still be given the second injection?
This problem needs to be divided into several situations:
The first type: catch up with the onset of a chronic disease or suffer from acute diseases such as colds and herpes.
For this kind of situation, the disease should be controlled and treated first. When the onset period is over or the chronic disease is controlled stably, you can continue to receive the second dose.
The second type: After the first injection, adverse reactions such as fever and mild rash occur.
The occurrence of common adverse reactions to the new crown vaccine is basically similar to other vaccines that have been widely used. They are mainly redness, swelling, nodules, pain, etc. at the vaccination site, as well as fever, fatigue, nausea, headache, muscle aches, etc. Usually this type of reaction will disappear on its own over time without special treatment, and the second shot can also be vaccinated as usual.
The third type: after the first injection, a more serious allergic reaction occurs.
If you have acute allergic reactions, angioedema , dyspnea, etc. after the first injection, or other conditions that are contraindicated in vaccination, it is not recommended to receive the second injection.
The fourth type: After receiving the first shot, he was bitten by a dog and received the rabies vaccine and tetanus vaccine.
When rabies vaccine, tetanus vaccine, immunoglobulin need to be vaccinated due to animal injuries, trauma, etc., the interval between the new coronavirus vaccine can be ignored.
