For example, core components rely entirely on imports, is it still an assembly machine? Is there any risk of being stunted?

The United States' ambition to hollow out European physical manufacturing by taking advantage of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is well known to everyone. However, the last EU's key industries, such as the EU's last key industries, can last longer.
What we need to do is to complete its own development and growth before European Airbus is completely dismembered and annexed by Boeing in the United States.
Although Nigeria revealed its intention to buy C919 at this international conference, according to the queue, C919 still has to complete 815 domestic orders.
Build large aircraft is not fried dough sticks, it is impossible to quickly start the pot and quickly explode production capacity.

3, how to get rid of the "bottleneck" curse?
The biggest criticism in the development and production process of C919 for more than ten years was the issue of "core components imported from Europe and the United States".
Moreover, the large domestic aircraft was "bottled" by the United States, and cut off the supply of at any time. This is not our "conspiracy theory speculation" or preparation, but the US government has done it in fact!

C919's current domestic production rate is 60%. Although the proportion of imports from Europe and the United States is small, it includes multiple core components. The engine of
C919 is now using the LEAP-1C turbofan engine developed jointly by the United States and France.
In addition to this, the lighting systems, fire protection systems, cockpit control systems, power systems, overheating protection systems, hydraulic systems, , deicing systems, windshield wiper systems, fuel systems, and fuel tank inertification systems used on the C919 are all provided by different American companies.
We are certainly not satisfied with the current situation of almost "full import" of core components. But let’s think about how domestic home appliances, domestic mobile phones, and domestic cars have come through in the past few decades?
Almost every large-scale manufacturing industry chain in China migrated from abroad for 20 years, starting from the initial overseas production, domestic assembly, and even just OEM in China.
Then after more than ten years of substitution of the entire domestic industry chain, foreign brands lost their "competitiveness" and were forced to withdraw from the market. The domesticization of large aircraft must also follow this law of industrial chain transfer. Moreover, at this stage, Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea are more vigilant about our country and the blockade is stricter. This transfer process will only be more difficult and time will be longer. Of course, we will not satisfy the current status of most core components imports at this stage. However, the domestic production rate of parts will also be in line with the progress of explosive production capacity.
In this way, all European and American manufacturers can earn is the profit of the initial "small production capacity". When domestic large aircraft "explode production capacity" and core components in the later stage, domestic supporting factories can replace performance after more than ten years of development and experiments.
C919 From project establishment to certificate acquisition, after 15 years of hardship and reaching the present, it has proved that our long-term strategy can withstand the beaten by changes in the international situation. The evidence collection of
C919 is just the "start" of the "heavy weapon of a great power". It flew thousands of miles away and spread all over the world, which is the future of the "heavy weapon of a great power"!
