In order to fully implement the provincial and municipal instructions and requirements on forest fire prevention and extinguishing, on September 28, Xiao Shenghui, deputy mayor of Tianxin District, organized a forest fire prevention and extinguishing dispatch meeting in the whole district. The meeting analyzed the current situation of forest fire prevention and extinguishing in Tianxin District and deployed the next stage of work. Afterwards, the Tianxin District Forest Defense Command Office organized key forest fire prevention and control units and relevant persons in charge of key areas for warning and interviews to further strengthen responsibilities and implement the system.
Since entering the special forest fire protection period this year, Tianxin District has increased its publicity efforts, adopted a variety of forms and easy-to-understand publicity method, and rolled out fire ban orders, hanging banners, posting slogans, sending mobile phone text messages, dispatching propaganda vehicles, posting fire ban orders and open letters to promote it. It signed forest fire prevention and control commitments and notices with more than 1,800 households; posted 150 forest fire ban orders and 100 forest chief orders, distributed more than 86,000 publicity materials, and dispatched more than 180 propaganda vehicles; arranged more than 800 people guarding the card and guarding the site, and inspected more than 1,200 patrol personnel, and conducted more than 30 inspections in the forest area, effectively controlling the entry of the fire source into the forest area and ensuring forest safety.
In order to further improve emergency response capabilities, Tianxin District held the 2022 Tianxin District forest fire emergency response drill in Nanjiao Park on September 20. Through the drill, the skills and tactical levels of emergency team assembly and pulling, equipment use, coordination and cooperation of various fire extinguishing forces, and on-site dispatching and command were tested, laying a solid foundation for forest fire prevention in autumn and winter.
