According to Jiangsu Public News Channel's "News Space Station" report: tickets to concerts of popular stars are often hard to come by, and some criminals are also taking advantage of the fandom of their fans to commit fraud on the Internet. Recently, the suspect Pan was approved for arrest by the Changzhou procuratorate for selling false concert tickets. Pan, born in Haikou, Hainan, is from Haikou, Hainan. Because there is no fixed source of income and the cost of spending money, Pan owed tens of thousands of foreign debts in a few months. In April this year, Pan heard from his brother-in-law that he could make money by selling concert tickets online, so he had a bad idea.
Pan told the fans that if they fail to get tickets on the official website, they will be very anxious and will contact various sellers online.
However, there are no real items for the concert tickets sold by Pan. He collected some information about others reselling tickets online in advance. In order to make the effect of fake and real, Pan also registered names such as " Damai.com ticketing consultation" and "Damai.com hotline ticketing" on Weibo , and created false company information, pretended to be an official ticketing account, and started looking for targets online. According to Pan's account, generally, the tickets for concerts of big-name stars are popular, and fans will come to see them in groups.
In just three months, Pan defrauded the victims of more than 70,000 yuan. Judging from the collection records, the amount of the victims of the fraud ranged from thousands to tens of thousands. At present, Pan has been transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution.
