On the morning of January 30, the Third Security Brigade of the Tianxin Branch of Changsha Public Security Bureau received an important clue. In the shortage of protective masks across the country, Yuhong Churentang Pharmacy in Tianxin District actually sold a large number of branded medical masks. This abnormal situation attracted the attention of the brigade. The
Brigade immediately organized police forces to investigate and found that the production date of masks sold in the pharmacy was February 8, 2020, far exceeding the purchase time at that time, and the masks could not provide effective protection, which was an obvious counterfeit and shoddy product.
So the team immediately reported the situation and jointly conducted a surprise inspection of the pharmacy with the food and drug supervision department. It was found that in just two days, the pharmacy sold tens of thousands of counterfeit and shoddy masks. Through analysis, the police found that there must be an industrial chain hidden behind it.

After receiving the situation, the Party Committee of Tianxin Public Security Bureau attached great importance to it and quickly appointed the third brigade of the branch's public security team to take the lead, and dispatched the branch's legal system and police station elite police forces to form a special task force, and jointly with the Food, Drug and Environmental Detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau to fully investigate the case. Through collaborative operations and cooperation, the task force conducted intelligence analysis and judgment on the entire case, and quickly grasped the organizational structure, personnel information, den location and criminal facts of the criminal gang. Then, five arrest teams were divided into Liuyang , Gaoqiao Market, Xiahe Street and other places to carry out comprehensive network collection. After 3 days and 2 nights of continuous struggle, successfully controlled the fifth-level dealers suspected of selling counterfeit and shoddy products, arrested 9 people involved in the case, and seized several counterfeit and shoddy masks.
After investigation, it was found that on November 28, the suspect Xie Mouhua and Liang Mou purchased more than 30,000 counterfeit and shoddy masks through Zhang Mouyuan at the Gaoqiao Market in Yuhua District, Changsha City. Subsequently, Xie Mouhua and others sold these masks on the roadside, making an illegal profit of more than 16,000 yuan. Among them, 20,000 masks sold to Ye Mouwen flowed into the market through Yuhong Churentang Pharmacy in Tianxin District. At present, the case has been criminally detained by 4 people and seized more than 100,000 yuan of illegal income. The case is under further investigation.
