"I remember when I joined the guitar club in high school and started practicing guitar, I heard the album "Kara OK Live. Taipei. Me" fully felt Zhang Yusheng's musical talent and his ambition to create "experiments" in Chinese pop music. The subject matter and literary nature of his writing lyrics also opened up my imagination of pop music lyrics and became another standard."
Because Mayday passed away unexpectedly before releasing his first album, Martha regretted that she had not had the chance to see Zhang Yusheng himself, taking advantage of this time to "I miss you to the moon." The Zhang Yusheng Special Exhibition is curated. As the music director, Martha revisits Zhang Yusheng's musical works, and combines the ideas of two classic songs "Missing You Every Day" and "Take Me to the Moon", and uses this as a concept throughout the exhibition. "I miss you to the moon, Zhang Yusheng Special Exhibition" will be exhibited at the Beiliu Cultural Center from November 12 to February 28, 2023.
