This means that the "COSCO Star" ship Xiamen-Kaohsiung route has temporarily resumed operations. The "COSCO Star" ship trialed the flight to Kaohsiung in May 2010, and opened the Xiamen-Kaohsiung route in 2013, and later temporarily suspended due to various reasons.

Xiamen border inspection general station Tongyi station person told China News Service reporters that with the increase in the demand for personnel exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, the Xiamen-Kaohsiung route will temporarily resume flights and will start sailing every Monday, with 36 flights expected this year.
The direct flight from Xiamen to Kaohsiung is about 171 nautical miles, and the flight time on the "City Star" ship is about 14 hours. According to the current flight forecast, the "COSCO Star" ship departs from Xiamen at 7 pm every Monday and arrives in Kaohsiung at around 8:30 am the next day, which can be said to be a night trip; the fare is only about one-quarter of the fare for a direct flight to Kaohsiung, which adds a travel option for passengers traveling between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
"COSCO Star" ship operates the passenger and roulette route from Xiamen to Taiwan for a long time, and adopts the "night-day trip" model to operate normally. According to Fujian-Taiwan Ferry Company, since its launch, the "COSCO Star" ship has safely operated nearly 1,300 voyages, transported more than 460,000 passengers, containers of more than 80,000 TEU 2, abalone and other fresh goods, about 1,800 tons, about 1,650 vehicles of various types, and carried about 1,520 TEUs in total.
Relevant staff of Tongyi Station of Xiamen Border Inspection General Station said that they will send additional guidance personnel to provide "Minnan Language" inspections at the customs clearance site, strengthen self-service customs clearance promotion and use, and optimize customs clearance experience.
