A woman was about to drive home after get off work, but was suddenly kidnapped by two men and "tied" all the way to Hangzhou. On August 5, the Gongshu District Procuratorate of Hangzhou City filed a public prosecution against the suspect Wang Moucheng for robbery. At this point, the case that the prosecutor Lao Wu, who has been concerned about for eight years, finally came to an end.
A woman on the roadside was covered in blood
In the early morning of December 30, 2014, on a small road in the former Xiacheng District, Hangzhou, a taxi driver Du had just sent a passenger, and a woman suddenly ran out of the roadside for help. The woman looked flustered and her hair was messy. Under the lights of the headlights, Du found that the woman was covered in blood and one of her shoes fell off.
The woman seemed to have not recovered from the shock yet. Du roughly heard the words "robbery" and "knife" and quickly helped to call the police.
Asked the injured woman and learned that the woman's surname was Chen. At around 22 o'clock that day, Chen got off work and was about to drive home. He was suddenly kidnapped by two men and was "tied" all the way to Hangzhou.
A few hours later, the Haiyan County Patrol Special Police found that two men wearing black clothes and black baseball caps were suspicious during routine inspections at the checkpoint. One man seemed to have controlled knives in his pocket.
When two men were summoned to come forward for examination, the two turned around and ran away. In the end, a man was arrested and found a blood-stained knife, three mobile phones and more than 2,000 yuan in cash. The other person rushed into the bushes and fled.
Received a call from a prisoner to join forces to jail
These two men are Wang Mourong (sentenced) and Wang Moucheng, the criminal suspects who robbed Chen.
The two were originally inmates serving their sentences in prison together. In 2012, after Wang Moucheng was released from prison, he worked odd jobs everywhere to make a living. At the end of 2014, Wang Moucheng received a call from his former inmate Wang Mourong, asking for a "small favor" to help his girlfriend's sister get debts.
Wang Moucheng, who was struggling to make money, agreed immediately. On the evening of December 30 of that year, Wang Moucheng followed Wang Mourong to the door of a barber shop to squat. At around 22 o'clock, when Wang Mourong saw a woman coming out of the barber shop, he winked and the two of them approached quietly. When the woman sat in the driving position and was about to start the vehicle, one person opened the rear door and entered the car and controlled the woman with a knife. The other person opened the cab door and dragged the woman from the front to the rear. Then the two of them drove away from the scene.
On the way, Wang and his wife not only threatened Chen, but also cut her neck, hands, face, etc. with a knife. After identification, Chen had a secondary minor injury. The two also forced Chen to tell him the 5 bank card passwords he carried with him, and took Chen to Hangzhou and then withdrew money from the ATM. In the end, Chen had three mobile phones and 2,600 yuan in cash.
At around 0:00 the next day, Wang Moucheng and his two drove the vehicle into a community, tied Chen Mou in the car with seat belts and tape paper, and abandoned the car and ran away. They were until they were intercepted by the patrol special police at the Haiyan Toll Station two hours later.
Fearful and fleeing for eight years and was arrested after
After escaping, Wang Moucheng first took a car all the way back to his hometown. After discovering that the hometown was arrested by the police, he took a "black car" to Guangdong. For eight years, Wang Moucheng has lived an incognito life with an ID card he picked up, and has also opened two companies in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, operating cultural and sports clubs and cosmetics businesses.
In March 2022, Wang Moucheng came to Chongqing from Guangdong. Due to his identity information, he was unable to apply for accommodation and had to sleep in the park. The local police found him to be a fugitive and arrested him.
"I know, it's a matter of time before I get caught." Wang Moucheng lowered his head.
"I handled the robbery case of Wang Mourong eight years ago. For eight years, I have been concerned about this case. Seeing Wang Moucheng being arrested and sitting in the interrogation room, I felt relieved." said Lao Wu, the prosecutor in charge.
After investigation, the suspect Wang Moucheng was sentenced for theft in 1996 and was released from prison in 2012. Because he had no source of income, he decided to "do a big deal" with his inmate Wang Mourong. After premeditation, the two robbed the victim Chen in a certain place in Shaoxing, and Wang Cheng confessed to his suspected criminal facts.
