Taichung has always been the base camp for Taiwan's precision machinery industry. I believe that all suppliers should start to feel it. At this time, after the new DPP government came to power, it also plans to list the famous precision machinery in the central region as one of its five major strategic development industries in the future, in order to echo the international trend of Industry 4.0, which has inspired the industry. However, if the Industry 4.0 industry wants to take shape in a specific way, it must have high-level manufacturing equipment as a backing. High-level manufacturing equipment is centered on CNC tool machines. We hope that the new government can strengthen resources and work together to support Taichung to become an internationally renowned smart machinery capital.
Huang Minghe emphasized that in response to the new government's idea of developing Taichung into a capital of smart machinery, Taichung Precision Machinery has obtained tens of thousands of square meters of factory construction land in the second phase of Taichung Precision Machinery Innovation Technology Park, will hold a construction ceremony in mid-June to build a "V4.0 Smart Machinery Professional Manufacturing Factory" as a blueprint, with the goal of being a demonstration production factory for Industry 4.0. The investment case will be designed with high cleanliness, high precision and high energy-saving and efficiency specifications, including land, factory buildings and the most advanced smart machinery manufacturing equipment introduced from Europe, America and Japan. The total investment will be as high as 3 billion yuan, which is the largest investment case in Taiwan's precision machinery industry in recent years. The new factory is expected to be completed and put into production in the second half of 2017. At that time, the main production projects include advanced CNC lathes, integrated processing machines and industrial 4.0 automation production lines, etc., and the annual output value is expected to challenge the 6 billion yuan mark.
