In order to implement the spirit of the Central Work Conference on Taiwan and deploy and arrange key tasks for 2022, on April 1, the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit Intelligent Manufacturing and Equipment Industry Cooperation Promotion Group of the Mainland and Taiwan held a video conference on work docking. The conveners, deputy conveners and group office staff attended the meeting. The main leaders of the Taiwan Secretariat, Taiwan Intelligent Automation and Robot Association, Taiwan Machinery Industry Association and Taiwan Machinery Machinery and Component Industry Association attended the meeting. The meeting was held via video link in Beijing, Zhengzhou, Taipei, , Taichung, and five places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
According to the meeting arrangement, Song Xiaogang, deputy convener of the group's mainland and executive vice president of China Machinery Industry Federation, was entrusted to report the key work plan of the Intelligent Equipment Group this year. After that, the two sides of the group held discussions on this year's key work and reached the following consensus: First, continue to carry out exchanges and cooperation in green and low-carbon development. Focusing on the implementation of the "Initiative for the Cross-Straits to Work together to Promote the Low-Carbon Development of the Machinery Industry", special exchange meetings such as the Cross-Strait Intelligent Manufacturing Central Plains Forum were organized. The second is to continue to deepen cross-strait industrial exchanges and prepare for the "2022 Cross-strait Machinery Industry Exchange Conference", "2022 Cross-strait Robot and Smart Automation Industry Development Forum" and "2022 Fujian Zhangzhou Cross-strait Intelligent Equipment Industry Matching Conference". The third is to strengthen research, promote the implementation of policies that benefit Taiwan, and steadily promote the awarding of cross-strait industrial parks for intelligent manufacturing and equipment. Fourth, new progress has been made in promoting cross-strait practical cooperation projects. Increase the publicity and implementation of common standards between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and strengthen cooperation in agricultural machinery and high-end components across the Taiwan Strait. Fifth, actively participate in various activities organized by the summit and do a good job in the preparations for the "2022 Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit Innovation and Development Seminar" and the 2022 Summit Annual Meeting. At the meeting, representatives from both sides actively spoke enthusiastically and exchanged views on the current development status of the intelligent manufacturing industry on both sides and existing problems. Taiwan representatives mentioned that since last year, Taiwan's semiconductor and CNC machine tool industries have developed rapidly. Under the influence of the good development momentum of new energy vehicles in mainland China, Taiwanese enterprises have further expanded in the mainland market. At the same time, due to the impact of the new crown epidemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Taiwan's industry is also facing adverse factors such as material shortage, increased energy costs, insufficient green electricity and increased carbon costs. The two sides agreed that they should work together to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and semiconductor equipment. Under the guidance of the dual-carbon goal, the cross-strait intelligent equipment group will play an active role in promoting the deep integration and development of cross-strait industries and green and low-carbon development.
