Peng Bo, 61, is from Nan County, Hunan Province. In 1977, he was admitted to the Chinese Department of Peking University as the first in liberal arts in Hunan Province. From 1998 to 2003, he studied under the economist Professor Xiao Zhuoji and obtained a doctorate degree in economics from Peking University .
