The event is themed "Political and Painting in the Peach Blossom Land" and is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Changde Municipal People's Government. Chen Wenhao, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, attended the opening ceremony.
National 5A-level scenic spot Peach Blossom Land is famous both at home and abroad for its beauty of mountains, rivers and pastoral gardens and the prosperity of temples and pavilions. Since its opening, the scenic spot has won the honors of the top ten cultural scenic spots in China and the top ten cultural and tourism characteristic towns in Hunan Province. The Peach Blossom Land in Changde is also the prototype of the only annotation and recognition of "The Peach Blossom Land" in "Cihai" and "Ciyuan". The artistic conception of "fresh grass and colorful fallen flowers" depicted by the poet Tao Yuanming of the Eastern Jin Dynasty makes the Peach Blossom Land the spiritual hometown pursued by the world.
