Gree refrigerator and wash production base project is a strategic industrial project of Hunan Province's "three highs and four new" , the top ten key projects in Changsha City, and the top ten landmark projects in Changsha City Advanced Manufacturing Industry . The project plans to invest 5.2 billion yuan, plan to use 961 mu of land, and plan to produce 2 million refrigerators and 2.5 million washing machines annually. 4. Gree Hefei Production Base: Gree Electric Appliances (Hefei) Co., Ltd., established on December 19, 2006, is located in Baiyan Science and Technology Park, Hefei High-tech Zone. It has successively built projects such as home air conditioner Phase I, home air conditioner Phase II, commercial air conditioner and living area. The total investment is about 4.4 billion yuan, covering an area of about 1,582 mu, and currently has more than 13,000 employees, and nearly 500 people with bachelor's degree or above. It is currently the largest professional air conditioning production base in central and eastern China and the third largest in China. The company is located in Shijiazhuang Home Appliances Industrial Park at the intersection of Zhujiang Avenue and the Ringcheng Water System in Shijiazhuang High-tech Development Zone. Gree Electric Appliances Shijiazhuang Home Appliances Industrial Park is located at the intersection of Zhujiang Avenue and the Ringcheng Water System of Shijiazhuang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with an overall planned area of nearly 3,000 mu. The construction of the first phase of small home appliance project and the second phase of air conditioning project has been completed. The total investment of the second phase of Gree air conditioning project was 1.65 billion yuan. It started construction at the end of May 2011 and was officially trial production in March. It is a production base for domestic air conditioning models. The initial project plans to produce 3 million sets of air conditioners annually. 8. Gree Wuhu Production Base: Gree Electric Appliances (Wuhu) Co., Ltd. was established on March 29, 2011. It is located in Sanshan District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., covering a total area of more than 3,400 mu and an annual air conditioner design production capacity of 6 million units (sets). The company currently has more than 4,100 employees, including 270 bachelor's degree or above. It has built a total assembly branch, a water heater branch, a two-device branch, a controller branch, a sheet metal spraying branch, an injection molding branch, a 3 finished product warehouse, and 5 material warehouses. The single-day air conditioning production capacity has reached 16,000 units (sets). Gree Hangzhou Production Base : Gree Electric Hangzhou Smart Electrical Industrial Park is located at the intersection of Jiangdong 1st Road and New Century Avenue, covering an area of 1,500 mu, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, and was officially put into production in 2017. The project involves the production and sales of smart appliances such as household and central air conditioners. It is expected that after all the projects reach full production, the annual output value will be about 20 billion yuan.
It is understood that this industrial park is the first production base built by Gree Electric in the Yangtze River Delta region and is also the largest single investment project introduced by Hangzhou. Gree Electric Appliances (Luoyang) Central Air Conditioning Intelligent Manufacturing Base : As the 13th air conditioning production base of Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., the Gree Air Conditioning Luoyang Base Project with a total investment of 3 billion yuan will mainly engage in the research and development and production of commercial air conditioners, household air conditioners and supporting products in the future.
