The update content of the "Guidelines" mainly includes the following contents. First, new research evidence is added, especially my country's research results, including influenza disease burden, vaccine effect, vaccine safety monitoring, vaccine vaccination cost and effect, etc.; Second, the relevant influenza prevention and control policies and measures issued by the country over the past year have been updated; Third, the types of influenza vaccines approved and issued in my country in 2022-2023 have been updated; Fourth, the components of trivalent and quadrivalent influenza vaccines for this year have been updated; Fifth, the recommendations for influenza vaccination for 2022-2023 have been updated.

According to the new version of the Guidelines, in principle, the vaccination unit should provide vaccination services to all people aged ≥6 months who are willing to receive influenza vaccination and have no contraindications. Influenza vaccination in children can also play an indirect protective role for other groups; in addition, influenza vaccination can also reduce the use of antibiotics.

For inactivated influenza vaccine, children aged 6 months to 8 years old who receive influenza vaccine for the first time should receive 2 doses, with an interval of ≥4 weeks; children who have received 1 dose or more influenza vaccine in 2021-2022 or before are recommended to receive 1 dose; children aged 9 and above and adults only need to receive 1 dose. For live attenuated influenza vaccine, only 1 dose will be given regardless of whether or not you have received the influenza vaccine.

At the same time, the "Guidelines" recommend that local governments carry out vaccination work as soon as possible after the vaccine supply is in place, and try to complete vaccination before the local flu epidemic season. During the same popular season, those who have completed the full vaccination process according to the vaccination procedure do not need to be vaccinated again.
