On September 20, the Hualongqiao Special Service Station of the Yuzhong District Fire Rescue Detachment carried out a military training activity for more than 660 first-year high school students from Chongqing No. 29 Middle School. In the
training, the propagandists adopted a theory-combined practice method, and explained to teachers and students in easy-to-understand language how to prevent campus fires, how to find fire hazards around them, how to correctly call the police when a fire occurs, how to rescue and escape, and safe use of electricity, fire, and gas in daily life. The use of fire extinguishers was demonstrated on the spot, and the operational instructions for using fire extinguishers to extinguish initial fires were taught to the participating students step by step. The students on the spot actively participated and the response was enthusiastic.
In order to better mobilize the enthusiasm for learning and increase the fun of learning, the publicity staff organized students to wear common protective equipment such as fire-fighting and rescue suits and bee-proofing suits. With the help of firefighters, they experienced the use of fire-fighting equipment such as circumcision cutters and handheld electric dismantling tools. The atmosphere on the scene was warm, and the students actively participated, which made them full of "firefighting addiction".
