Once upon a time, my impression of Lin Chiling was "baby sound", and when I accidentally saw a speech during a fracture recovery, I changed my impression of her and felt the "gentle power"; later, when I learned and practiced mindfulness, I realized that the way I got along with pain was a kind of "mindfulness".

In January 2016, the south encountered a cold wave of rain, snow and snow that had not been seen for many years. It was a frozen day of ten degrees below zero. I fell to the ground on the way to work. Although I felt breathing hard at that time, I did not realize the seriousness of the problem and did not care about myself. After being pulled up, I endured the pain and went to work for a day. That night, the pain worsened. The next day, I went to the hospital for examination and took an image to diagnose it as a fracture of the eighth section of the thoracic vertebra.

Once upon a time, my impression of Lin Chiling was

The accidental injury made me feel a little disappointed when I was busy. I accepted it. I could only follow the doctor's advice, and I had to let go of everything, lie quietly in bed, unable to go to work, participate in club activities, study, cannot read, cannot yoga, and go out, and spend the Spring Festival in lying quietly. Thank you to your parents for your careful care and company for one and a half months. During the first week of my injury, the pain kept me from falling asleep quietly, so I distracted and learned to grow by listening to the radio station, watching videos on my phone.

A video of Lin Chiling's speech attracted me and made me empathize! Because she talked about her experience of falling down multiple fractures from a horse during her acting process. Listening to the full speech, I changed my original impression of Lin Chiling's weak and coquettish expression. I was deeply moved and felt that Lin Chiling was as gentle as water, strong and optimistic, and used wisdom and kindness to interpret the unique charm of her life!

In the speech, Lin Chiling said—

When I opened my eyes, I realized that I couldn't move and I was injured. There are also huge and huge pains. This injury, which starts one centimeter below the heart, has six ribs and seven places of fracture fracture. In other words, if I go up one centimeter, I will not be as I am now.

When I arrived at the hospital, the doctor said that broken ribs were the biggest pain in the body. He told me that you must endure it. I asked him, would this be OK? He said yes, and then, I never cried out a pain again, nor did I shed a tear again. Because I want to let all my energy repair my own body, even at that time, I felt so painful even if I even took a breath. Then in the following days, when I was so painful that I was almost unconscious, I told myself that I would coexist with this pain and that I would coexist with it. Maybe a sleep will be better tomorrow.

I am very grateful for everything that has happened so far, everything. When I came here today, what I want to share with you is that if we can all change our thoughts and change our attitude, the result may be different. Don’t use anger to stop you from moving forward, we can communicate with gentle words. When people have this kind of good interaction, you will find that when you give, you like yourself more. Then you will have the kindness that grows in your heart and this kind of happiness energy. Then you have the strength to grow in your bones.

Hopefully in the future, we can all use gentle power to change together. Don't use the power of anger to regret it. After every setback, bloom your own flowers.

After experiencing accidental falls off a horse, Lin Chi-ling, who was once hanging on a thread of life, can better understand the helplessness of life, and know more deeply how important the encouragement of others is, and also understand better that only strength can be reborn. During the speech, Lin Chi-ling always kept a confident smile, whether it was the calmness she felt in her voice or the sincerity she revealed in her tone, she was so kind and natural. She said, "I want to coexist with this pain. I must use gentle power to change, and don't use angry power to regret." It is a mindful attitude.

2018, I began to practice mindfulness. Looking back at the experience of fractures and the way you get along with pain is a mindful and stress-relieving therapy for self-healing.

Mindfulness and stress relief therapy is a course developed by Dr. Kabakin based on traditional mindfulness practice, and was introduced into mainstream medicine in the late 1970s. By opening stress relief clinics in hospitals, some patients with chronic diseases can improve their symptoms and improve their quality of life. This method has now been widely accepted by mainstream medicine.

Now, mindfulness practice has evolved into a lifestyle. In some areas, people suffering from chronic pain and facing the stress of fast-paced life and work practice mindfulness meditation in a variety of ways. In daily life, when we encounter physical illnesses, we learn to use mindfulness to heal ourselves -

Once upon a time, my impression of Lin Chiling was

First, accept. accepts the status quo, does not regret the past, does not fear the future, uses current resources to change gently.

The second is to coexist. is with your body, breathing, and pain, and does not avoid it, but perceive it. Through mindfulness practice, transfer the source of control from the external “pain is happening to me and there is nothing I can do about it” to the internal “pain is happening to me and I can choose the relationship with me.” Learn to deal with pain in new ways and improve the quality of life.

The third is healing. Healing means eliminating the disease, while healing means becoming more complete. For chronic pain, healing involves learning to endure pain that can be controlled at a certain level. Mindfulness meditation, focus on one's own breathing, be aware of the body's sensations, and allow all sensations to happen. During practice, change your understanding and experience of pain, thereby alleviating pain and healing the mind and body.

Mindfulness practice will cultivate the compassion and gentleness in our hearts. May we all have the kindness from the bottom of our hearts and the strength from the bones, and bloom like flowers!
