One of the adjustment plans is to stipulate that mild and asymptomatic patients infected with COVID-19 do not need to be isolated. They only need to strictly abide by Thailand's DMHT's four epidemic prevention principles for strict protection for 5 days, that is, maintain social safe distance, wear masks, wash hands frequently, cooperate with body temperature measurement, and conduct self-test of COVID-19 antigen screening when suspected symptoms occur.

For ordinary people, Anuting said that masks should be worn when entering and leaving public places and densely populated areas, and self-test of COVID-19 antigen screening when suspected symptoms occur. Anutin said that the new adjustment plan for epidemic prevention measures will be discussed at the meeting of the Epidemic Control Center and plans to be officially implemented from October 1.
It is understood that Thailand has adjusted the treatment methods for people infected with the new coronavirus starting from March 2022. Asymptomatic or mild patients can go directly to the hospital for treatment and self-isolate at home. The new epidemic prevention measures will be implemented after Thailand announced that it would remove the new coronavirus from the list of restricted entry diseases.
