Today, the reporter learned from the Taishan Dongyue Temple Fair press conference of the Taian Municipal People's Government that the Taishan Dongyue Temple Fair with the theme of "Seeing Dongyue Temple Fair and Praying for Peace and Luck" will be held on Dai Temple from April 19 to April 25, 2019.
Taishan Dongyue Temple Fair has a long history and a profound influence. In June 2008, the Taishan Dongyue Temple Fair was announced as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council. Since 2009, the Taishan Dongyue Temple Fair has been successfully held ten times in a row.
In recent years, Taishan Scenic Area has closely focused on the deployment requirements of the Tai'an Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and has expanded the brand influence and attractiveness of "China Taishan, the world Tai'an " with the core of exploring, promoting, displaying and inheriting Taishan culture. By innovating the format of temple fairs, we will improve the taste of events, expand the scope of cooperation, and establish a place for Taishan to become a pleasing place with special influence in the international and domestic areas, and achieve significant social and economic benefits.
It is understood that on the basis of retaining traditional special projects such as Taishan intangible cultural heritage display, folk competition, opera performance, this temple fair introduced 22 special tourism, culture, folk customs, and economic and trade activities, including the Han Meilin painting exhibition, the world's first Chuiwan seminar, Wuyue Temple Cultural Seminar, Tea Expo, National Fitness Challenge, and Cultural and Creative Product Display, reflecting the characteristics of the temple fair in the era.
In recent years, with the Dongyue Temple Fair as a platform, the exchange of tourism, folk customs and culture between Mount Tai, Tai'an and Taiwan has continued to deepen. During this year's temple fair, a group of more than 70 people, including representatives of economic and cultural association organizations such as the Taiwan China Asia-Pacific Small and Medium Enterprises Economic Cooperation Promotion Association, the Taiwan China Cultural Relics Association, and the Taiwan Cultural Industry-Economic Exchange Promotion Association, and representatives of believers such as the Shanhua Dongyue Palace, the Pingtung Sansheng Palace, and the Changhua Jade Palace will come to Thailand to participate in various visits and exchange activities.

(II) The first world crowing jungle seminar
Time: April 19th afternoon
Location: Daimiao Hanbaiyuan Channel Hall
Content: Hold the first world crowing jungle seminar, inviting well-known figures in the world to conduct high-end dialogues on issues such as traditional competition and modern sports.
(III) Fu Tai - A special exhibition of calligraphy and painting in Animal World of Han Meilin
Time: April 18-May 15
Location: Dai Temple with Tianmen
Content: The exhibition takes Han Meilin's animal-themed painting as the core, and 68 groups of artistic works in categories such as painting, calligraphy, and folk crafts were selected to reflect the artist's understanding and inheritance of traditional skills, traditional styles, and traditional aesthetics, and present Han Meilin's artistic creation and exploration process from different angles. This is the first time that the series of works by art master Mr. Han Meilin has been exhibited in our province. In addition, on the morning of April 19, professionals from Hangzhou Han Meilin Art Museum will demonstrate woodblock printing to the audience on site, and participants can make their own works by themselves.
(IV) Tai'an's first folk collection exhibition

2019 Cross-Strait Famous Calligraphy and Painting Famous Exhibition"

Content: In order to promote the excellent Chinese culture, promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between Tai'an and Taiwan, and further enhance the popularity and influence of Tai'an and Mount Tai on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Tai'an Taiwan Compatriots and Taiwan Association and Tai'an Folk Artists Association jointly held the "Brush and ink express emotions, and the two sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family - 2019 Cross-Strait Famous Calligraphy and Painting Famous Exchange Exhibition". The exhibition displays more than 40 fine works of Chinese paintings by Mr. Cai Junzhang of Taiwan and Mr. Liu Jiandong of Tai'an. At the same time as the painting exhibition opens, the 2019 creation activity of Taishan Shigandang Calligraphy and Painting Scrolls on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will also be launched at the same time.

(10) Kung Fu Taishan - Martial Arts and Tai Chi performances
