Dadaocheng is a place name in Taipei City, Taiwan. It is now within Datong District . Dadaocheng Xiahai City God Temple was originally the guardian god of Wuxiangzhuang, Xiadian Township, Fujian Quanzhou Tong'an Xiadian Township. Now he worships the Lord of Xiahai City God, and is also worshipped by the 38 righteous brave men (that is, the victims who were attacked on the way to Dadaocheng from Mengjia). The temple has a smaller layout, with only the main hall and the worship pavilion, but the incense is abundant and there are many believers.
Tell me a lot about this City God Temple. The City God worshipped inside was invited by an immigrant from Xiacheng City God Temple in Xiadian Township, Tong'an, Fujian in 1821. In the early days, it was placed in the Jintongli Cake Shop of Bajiazhuang, Mengsuo. In 1853, the famous "Tingxia Suburbs" (that is, the Dingxia, mainly composed of Jinjiang , Hui'an , and Nan'an and the lower suburbs, mainly composed of Tong'an people, had a classified armed battle in order to win the interests of Mengsau Wharf). In the end, the Tong'an people were defeated, snatched the City God's golden body from the fire, retreated to Dadaocheng, and then placed it in Dadaocheng.
