1. Hunan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College
Hunan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College was formerly a staff technology training class founded by Jiangnan Machine Factory in 1962; in January 2008, Hunan Science and Technology Vocational and Technical College was officially established with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government; in April 2015, the college was handed over to the Hunan Provincial People's Government for management and became a higher vocational college directly under the Hunan Provincial Department of Education. In January 2016, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the college was renamed Hunan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College.
The college is the only comprehensive vocational college in the Chinese military industry that specializes in cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents. It is the first higher vocational college in the country to directly recruit non-commissioned officers by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of Education. It is the first national high-skilled talent training demonstration base in the country and the training base for high-skilled talents in the military industry in China. It is also the only provincial demonstration (backbone) higher vocational college in Hunan Province that relies on China Ordnance Industry Group to run schools, have real school-enterprise cooperation, and combine engineering and education-based management characteristics to cultivate military and high-end equipment manufacturing military and local dual-use talents .
The college has always relied on the Chinese weapons industry and national defense and military enterprises to run schools, closely connected with the four major business segments of China Ordnance Industry Group 's optoelectronic information, weapon manufacturing, special chemical industry and military vehicles, and the People's Liberation Army of China using weapons. 2. Changsha Aviation Vocational and Technical College
Changsha Aviation Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1973 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in March 1998. It is affiliated to the Air Force Equipment Department. is the only ordinary university in the army with a national education nature. It is a demonstration higher vocational college in Hunan Province and the first batch of outstanding vocational colleges in the country. It is the first batch of targeted training non-commissioned officers in the country. The school has 22 majors, including aircraft maintenance technology, aircraft manufacturing technology, drone application technology, general aviation and aviation technology. The school has the first collaborative innovation center for aviation vocational education and technology in the country, the National Aviation Industry Aircraft Maintenance Technology Professional Teaching Steering Committee, the Secretariat of the Provincial General Aviation Association, and the Provincial Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center.
