In 2021, the Provincial Department of Transportation launched the "Three-Year Action for Improvement of Road Conditions" with the national and provincial trunk roads in the province. Through joint efforts, the Provincial Department of Transportation has determined 17 road conditions improvement projects in Anyang City, which are at the forefront of all cities in the province from construction mileage to investment scale, far exceeding the total investment of maintenance projects in the city's national and provincial trunk roads in the past few years.

17 national and provincial trunk roads total mileage is 138.098 kilometers, with a total investment of 722 million yuan, of which 301 million yuan of provincial subsidies are provided. These projects involve seven counties (city, district, and department) in the city, Linzhou, Neihuang, Tangyin, Anyang County, Yindu and Longan. After the project was implemented, all counties, districts and units in the city actively carried out preliminary work such as preliminary project review, bidding and other preliminary work, overcame the difficulties of unfavorable weather turning to cold seasons and increased environmental protection control costs, and fully promote the organization and implementation of various projects.
A few days ago, the reporter learned in an interview with Linzhou City that the Linzhou highway department has actively taken measures to resume work and production, overcome adverse effects such as epidemic prevention and control and rising material prices, make reasonable arrangements, reverse construction periods, and work overtime to carry out the project construction work. Up to now, the three project entities they are responsible for organizing and implementing have been completed. The road surface renovation project of the S227 Lintong Line Dongyao to Wulong section, the restoration and maintenance project of the S302 Fanlin Line Dongyao to Dongyao West section, and the restoration and maintenance project of the G342-day Feng Line Linqidong to Kongyu, Lijiazhai to Huixian boundary section. After implementation, the road surface is flat and comfortable to drive, which greatly changed the current situation of large differences in road conditions in the north and south areas of Linzhou City, further improved the road environment, and provided road traffic support for the integration of transportation and tourism in Linzhou City, convenient and comfortable travel for the people along the route, and the economic and social development of Linzhou City.
Other county and district projects are under intense construction, and 6 of them are expected to achieve the main completion by the end of May, and the remaining projects are all subject to the main completion goal by the end of June. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the road conditions in Anyang will be significantly improved, and will be significantly improved for the convenient, safe and comfortable travel of the people. It has positive significance for Anyang's external image and economic and social development.
