According to news on March 15, Riot Games announced that it will invest in Fortiche, the animation studio that produced the animated series "League of Legends: Battle of Two Cities".
Riot Games will hold a majority of Fortiche’s non-controlling shares in this investment, and two Riot executives will also join the Fortiche board of directors. Apart from Riot officials on the board of directors, the company will not be affected by Riot Games in terms of operations and will remain independent. The company's senior team includes co-founders Pascal Charrue, Jérme Combe and Arnaud Delord, as well as the company's appointed Managing Director, Hervé Dupont.
Regarding the follow-up cooperation between Riot and Fortiche, in addition to the production of follow-up series of "League of Legends: Battle of Two Cities", the two companies will also launch music videos together.

According to a previous tweet from Riot Games CEO, the second season of "League of Legends: Battle of Two Cities" is in production, although it will not be broadcast in 2022. But it won't take six years to produce like the first season.
