The Tsai administration's "reshoring of Taiwanese businessmen" is a way of saying that it is also working hard to "fight for the economy." On the other hand, this is also part of the Tsai administration’s “political fight.” The Democratic Progressive Party is keen on advocating the "mainland threat" and badmouthing the mainland. It has always turned a blind eye to the fact that Taiwanese businessmen have received huge returns from investing in the mainland. It only preaches that "cross-strait exchanges are risky" and "investing in the mainland requires caution." The Democratic Progressive Party said that the investment environment in the mainland is deteriorating, and Taiwanese businessmen can take this opportunity to "salmon return home" and return to the warm embrace of Taiwan. The
plan is available, and the "results" are delivered immediately, and the results are super fast. The Tsai administration quickly raised the figures for Taiwanese business capital repatriation to 500 billion or 700 billion. In the eyes of DPP supporters and uninformed Taiwanese people, does this figure mean that the DPP’s description of the mainland’s investment environment is true? And proves that the DPP's "economic struggle" actually has an efficient side?
However, if the bullshit is exaggerated, it will eventually be exposed. During the recent question session of Taiwan's "Legislative Yuan", Lin Quanneng, the "Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs" of the Taiwan authorities, said, "I haven't seen the (funds) coming back from outside the island yet." When Taiwanese lamented that everything was rising but wages were not rising, officials from the Tsai administration categorically stated that the average monthly salary of Taiwanese has reached 50,000 yuan. At a time when Taiwan's economy is bleak, the Tsai administration has made a high-profile claim that Taiwan's economy is on the rise.
