China Taiwan Network September 25 According to Taiwan Dongsen News Cloud, the Chinese Kuomintang presidential election voting was held today, with 370,000 people Party members with voting rights voted at 420 polling stations to elect the new chairman. Voting will be held from 8:00 am to 16:00 pm today, and the votes will be opened immediately. The results are expected to be released in the evening. The new chairman will report the election results to the "Central Standing Committee" for verification on September 29, and the handover of the old and new chairman will be carried out on October 30.
According to reports, there are four candidates competing in this election for the chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang. The numbers determined by drawing lots are: No. 1 Jiang Qichen , No. 2 Zhuo Boyuan, No. 3 Zhang Yazhong , and No. 4 Zhu Lilun . Jiang Qichen went to the Fengyuan District Party Headquarters in Taichung to vote at 9:30; Zhu Lilun went to the No. 25 Voting Station in New Taipei City, Yitian Temple, to vote at 10:10; Zhang Yazhong voted at 10 o'clock in the Jingmei Jiying Temple Auditorium.
The Chinese Kuomintang explained that there is a voting center in the Zhongshan Hall on the first floor of the "Central Party Headquarters". After the voting for the party chairman election ends at 16:00 pm, the voting process will be presented on a projection screen. The election results are expected to be released at 18:00 at the earliest.
