. In the evening, I went to the famous French restaurant FCC in SIEM REAP with the Taiwanese tourists I met by chance. It ended my Cambodia trip comfortably —
5. The next day I took a flight to Singapore
I drew this up from my own personal experience Practical guide:
Siem Reap Siem Reap is actually a very safe town. It is not as chaotic as people say in Phnom Penh. There is no need to book a hotel or GUEST HOUSE in advance. You can stay in a good GUEST HOUSE for 10 US dollars, If you don't mind talking about the room price, you can negotiate the price.
The sun in Cambodia is actually very poisonous. Because I was alone, it was inconvenient for me to apply sunscreen. After the first day of the trip, I found that the vest mark I was wearing was firmly imprinted on my body. It took half a year to remove it from my body. It slowly fades away, and it doesn't matter if you still get tanned, but the exposed skin will be very painful and peeling in the next few days. MMs who love beauty remember to wear sunscreen with a high SPF index, preferably the kind you use on the beach.
In Cambodia, you can deeply feel the coexistence of poverty and greed. Everywhere you go, there will be many children asking you for money in various ways. Sometimes you are even surrounded by them and can't get away. It seems like everywhere The shouts of “ONE DOLLAR” filled the air. The word I heard most often in Cambodia was: “ONE DOLLAR!” Better prepare more change!
All the attractions in Angkor can be seen in 3-4 days. TUTU is very cheap. In fact, I later found out that the TUTU I packed per day was quite expensive. I met two girls from Taiwan, and the TUTU they packed was actually only US$8 per day.
5 Angkor is a place worth visiting. The thousand-year-old monuments and mysteries , as well as the poverty and backwardness of Cambodia can make you deeply touched. Even in poverty, there are some places that are very luxurious and comfortable. Some Western restaurants like SIEM REAP feel very good!
6 Please see the photo links for each day of my four-day itinerary. If you book TAXI or TUTU, you don’t need a tour guide at all. Once the TUTU driver has communicated with you, they will usually take you to every large and small scenic spot responsibly. I, , personally recommend that self-travelers choose TUTU, which allows them to fully experience every inch of Cambodia’s tropical scenery. If I TAKE TAXI, I feel like I will miss out on a lot of human scenery.
7 especially recommends : Angkor has thousands of years of antiquity and mystery, Tony Leung 's movie "In the Mood for Love ", the location of the Hollywood blockbuster "Tomb Raider" should be taken a closer look, and there is also the largest fresh water in Southeast Asia. Lake Tonle Sap is not to be missed. The endless lake is as boundless as the sea. The refugee camps along the way, the suffering floating families on the lake, and the beautiful sunset on the lake will touch your heart. It will be unforgettable!
8 I am really not used to the local food in Cambodia. Everything is sweet, and the sweetness is a bit greasy. I once followed a Cambodian hot pot restaurant introduced in the guide. It was like a domestic food stall style hot pot restaurant. When I went there, I was like I was the only outsider who saw the food. The locals ate very delicious food. After a few bites, I felt so sweet that I felt like vomiting. The soup base and ingredients were all sweet. There is only one fixed soup base, no choice. Fortunately, there are several good Chinese restaurants in SIEM REAP. Beijing Dumpling House and Red House are very good Chinese restaurants. Red House is particularly recommended. I heard that the owner of Red House is Taiwanese. I personally feel that the taste of Red House is better than that of Beijing Dumpling House. There are many, and the Red House is on the road side by side with the Beijing Dumpling House, about 30-40 meters apart. After I come back, I still think of the dumplings and garlic salad from the Red House from time to time. They are delicious.
9 There are still many very good Western restaurants in SIEM REAP in Cambodia. FCC is very good. During the day, it is like archaeological research. The spectacular Angkor group, and enjoying coffee at a restaurant like FCC at night, it feels like day and night are thousands of years apart.
0 In fact, the total cost of this trip is only about 8,000 RMB, and the round-trip air ticket is more than 3,000. In addition, I brought 500 US dollars, but when I left Cambodia for Singapore, I still had about 200 US dollars left. At SIEM REAP, I was in the FCC restaurant The most expensive item I bought in Cambodia was a cloth handbag, which cost 20 US dollars.
'Aventure' Chapter
An affair happened irresistibly... The first affair was at Bairen Temple. A Japanese young man was also alone. He asked me to take a photo for him in front of Bairen Temple and invited me to meet him. He was walking together. At that time, I suddenly remembered the Nanjing Massacre and my own patriotism (hatred the Japanese invaders who brutally invaded China), so I found an excuse to evade it politely... But maybe I felt that the Japanese guy was not handsome enough... Haha!
I took the initiative for my second "affair". To be honest, traveling alone makes me feel lonely. For example, the sun in Cambodia is really poisonous. Later I found out that when I was in Cambodia, there was a blizzard in northern China. Period, so I really didn’t expect the harsh sunshine in Cambodia, because it’s not convenient for me to apply sunscreen on my back. My skin felt raw and sore the next day. I wanted to find someone to take a photo of myself with Angkor as the background. It was very inconvenient to take photos.
Fortunately, the next day, I was worried that no one would take photos for me on the way to the entrance of Prekhan Temple. There were not many tourists going to Prekhan Temple. , there were only a few people on the road, and suddenly I heard the two girls closest to me walking in front of me talking in Mandarin. At that moment, I became happy. There was no need to be shy, because everyone was a girl, so I quickly ran up to ask them to help me take a picture. After seeing Mr. Zhang, they were very happy to chat with me... We got to know each other in this way. They are from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and have sacred professions. One is a junior high school teacher and the other is a high school teacher... Haha, this is me in Cambodia. "Amorous encounter", a very beautiful and meaningful encounter.
Later we became friends who talked about everything. Now when we call each other, the first sentence is not: HELLO, but "ONE DOLLAR!" ONE DOLLAR is the word we hear most in SIEM REAP, Cambodia! ONE DOLLARY has become our secret code of communication. Haha... The next night, we three girls went to many high-end restaurants and bars in SIEM REAP. It was very comfortable. On the fourth day, I went to Singapore. They went back to Phnom Penh and then went to Vietnam ,
Food article :

After our "love encounter" with Kangkang and Tingting, the three of us girls tried several different Western restaurants in SIEM REAP. The feeling and atmosphere of those Western restaurants were really good.
Below are some photos we took in the restaurant. Let’s use these photos to bring a perfect ending to the little girl’s solo trip to Cambodia.
Ting Ting
FCC French Restaurant
(should be the most advanced restaurant in SIEM REAP, with a comfortable and romantic atmosphere, recommended)
Red House Chinese Restaurant
(authentic Chinese cuisine, the price is also very reasonable, highly recommended)
