Mr. Liang told reporters that he had been to Zhengzhou on June 27 and went to Henan Bank. The Bureau of Supervision asked about the withdrawal from village banks. After returning to Jinan on the 29th, he never went out. He didn't know why he was assigned a red code this time.
On the same day, Mr. Liang from Jinan, Shandong Province encountered a similar situation with Mr. Shen who lives in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. His "Liao Shi Tong" health code was suddenly "red code" on the evening of July 7, but the 72-hour nucleic acid test still showed negative. Mr. Shen said that he had been staying in Shenyang, Liaoning Province for the past few months and had never been to Zhengzhou. He also felt baffled that he was remotely assigned a red code.
After he reported his red code situation to the community where he lived, community staff told him that the red code was assigned by Henan Province. It was recommended that he actively communicate with Henan Province and Shenyang City did not have the authority to handle Mr. Shen’s red code. .
Previously, in mid-June, 1,317 Henan village bank depositors across many provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country, including Mr. Liang, were given red codes on-site or remotely by Zhengzhou City for debt collection, triggering public criticism.
