In fact, the inspiration for the photographer Laura's photography came from her stepfather gradually losing his will to live when he was undergoing treatment for lung cancer. Comparing the photos in 2014, they have really changed a lot. After many rounds of chemotherapy, the side effects were very obvious for Ryan! Her whole head of hair fell out! Moreover, her eyelids also appeared droopy due to the removal of brain tumor . She was not defeated by the disease and was still full of energy and happy.
