Comprehensive Taiwanese media reported on February 27 that a car accident occurred at 9:26 a.m. in the southbound lane of the Yangmei and Hukou sections of Taiwan's Zhongshan Expressway when a tour bus chased and hit a tow truck, causing 6 of the 14 people on the tour bus (5 Male and 1 female) were injured,

As for the car that passed by the crash, Taiwanese media reported that the tour bus drove to the rest area near the Hukou section At that time, the tow truck in front slowed down, and the tour bus failed to brake in time and hit it. The five injured mainland tourists suffered nosebleeds, lacerated lips and other injuries due to the force of the impact, while the 55-year-old Taiwanese tour guide surnamed Zhang suffered a fracture in his right calf.
Firefighters dispatched ambulance personnel and disaster relief vehicles to rescue the trapped passengers after destroying the car doors. The injured were all conscious when they were sent to the hospital. After medical treatment, the six people's lives were not in danger, and the other passengers were not seriously injured.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. The police said that the alcohol test values of the drivers of the two vehicles were zero. It was initially determined that the driving distance between the tour bus and the tow truck in front was not enough. However, the real cause of the accident still needs to be investigated and clarified.
