Cape Mayada is one of my personal favorite dive sites. This dive site is a cape close to the shore. Features

Recommended diving sites
The most characteristic diving site of Shuina Island is called the boat side. It is located 20 minutes by boat on the north side. The transparency is 30-40 meters all year round. There are occasional undercurrents. In addition to shellfish and Tianzhu snapper groups, there are also many other species on the white sand. There is a group of garden eels living there. The way they stick out their heads and sway with the current is so cute.

Blue Cave/Blue Cave

This is an open cave blue light that is said to be only visible in Okinawa and Italy. You can go into the water all year round. The many big-eyed red fish in the cave are said to be the inspiration for Hayao Miyazaki's Ponyo on the Cliff.

The deepest inside the Blue Cave is about 18 meters, suitable for junior divers, snorkeling and experience diving.
Not to be missed
Enter the invisible cave for about 15 meters and then turn around. The main purpose of diving here is to see the mysterious phantom light at the entrance of the cave. The angle of the sun is different throughout the year, and the level of light entering is also unpredictable.

Cape Hedo Ancient Cave (Cape Hedo)

Cape Hedo is about 70 or 80 kilometers away from the World Aquarium, a famous tourist spot in Okinawa. The recommended cave diving in Cape Hedo is around AOW200. The process of entering the cave is winding and ups and downs. The neutral buoyancy must be good. Uss Emmons
Source and characteristics
Uss Emmons This World War II sunken ship was discovered by local fishermen in February 2001. After investigation, it was learned that the ship was built in November 1940, set sail in August 1941, and was defeated by the Japanese army on April 6, 1945. , was sunk by the domestic army the next day. The water is now about 43m deep and 106 meters long. There are various traces of World War II, as if you have entered a time capsule and returned to that era. Every summer, we see active-duty U.S. troops stationed in Okinawa, holding waterproof flags and bronze plaques engraved with the names of their dead comrades, going into the sea to observe a moment of silence in front of battleships.
