Today, before the flowering period arrives, I would like to recommend the most classic route for viewing apricot flowers in advance - Zhang Xia's "Ten Thousand Acres of Apricot Garden" for your collection and later use!
"Thirty Miles of Jade Apricot Valley" probably originated from Su Dongpo's "Thirty Miles of One-Colored Apricot Blossoms"!
This place is located in Huangjiayu, Zhangxia Street, Changqing District, Jinan. The apricot blossom viewing range spans many villages such as Zhifang, Jiaotai, Taoyuan, and Louyu.

Most friends take the southbound route from Changqing 104 National Highway to Zhanggao Road in Zhangxia and turn left, but this line often has serious traffic jams during the flowering season. Therefore, I recommend taking the Zhonggong -Jiuchongtian-Jiaotai Village- Xiaolu Spring route. Flower viewing + spring viewing will be a very satisfying day.

In fact, the best place to enjoy flowers in the "Ten Thousand Acres of Apricot Garden" is in the section of Jiaotai Village, where many century-old trees are worth visiting.
Jiuchongtian
You can go south on the "Jiuchongtian" Panshan Road to the three-way intersection, go directly to the north slope of Jiaotai Village, and then enjoy the flowers and scenery along Panshan Road to Zhanggao Road, and then decide whether to continue along Zhanggao Road based on your own interests. Travel west to enjoy the flowers.
Turn left at this fork in the road and take Panshan Road on the north slope of "Jiaotai Village"
Here I would like to remind everyone not to dig wild vegetables under the fruit trees during the season when the apricot flowers are in full bloom, because fruit farmers will spray pesticides every year when they are blooming and fruit setting, so everyone should try their best to Look for wild vegetables in the mountains and on the roadside!

After a morning of walking and admiring flowers, and after enjoying the sun and resting at noon, we were able to navigate the "Xiaolu Spring" in the afternoon. From the narrow downhill intersection of Jiaotai Village, cross Zhanggao Road and continue southbound for a quarter of an hour to reach Xiaolu Spring.
Xiaolu Spring
"Xiaolu Spring" is said to be named after the spring water condensed by morning dew. It is located at the foot of the northeastern cliff of Jijiayu Village, Zhangxia Town, Changqing District. Because it is adjacent to the famous temple Lingyan Temple , it is listed as one of the eight scenic spots of Lingyan Temple and is now selected as the new 72 famous springs in Jinan.
Thousand-year-old cypress on the spring
This spring is hidden in a natural cave, close to the cliff. There is a thousand-year-old cypress hanging above the cave, with strong branches and a simple and solemn look.
The magical ringing stone
CCTV once reported on the unique "ringing stone" in Jijiayu Village. It feels like a "hollow" and it really makes a sound when it is swayed in the ear!
The best time for flower viewing: March 10th to March 20th
This route is suitable for self-driving. If you take the bus, take the Changqing route. At the same time, during the flowering season, there are special buses for flower viewing at the "Five Courtyards".
