namely:
Remote Area Skilled Technical Work Visa (Category 491),
and Remote Area Employer Sponsored Immigrant Visa (Category 494) ).

According to reports, starting from November 16th, , these two new types of temporary visas will soon open the application channel, provides 23,000 quotas for every year!
It is reported that applicants for the 491 category visa can submit EOI on the day the application channel opens. This is a points-based visa. Applicants need to obtain state nomination or sponsorship from qualified family members who have settled in the designated area.
This type of visa includes 500 occupations, with an annual quota of 14,000;
and 494 applicants can submit employer nominations after the channel is opened. This type of visa includes 700 occupations, with an annual quota of 9,000.
These two visas will replace the original Category 489: State-Sponsored Temporary Visa in Remote Areas and the Category 187: Employer-Sponsored Visa in Remote Areas that have been closed since September 11.
