There are many unique shops on Fuzhong Street across the road from the main gate of the Confucius Temple (the first school in Taiwan).

Chikan Tower was originally built by the Dutch. The early Han people called the Dutch people Hongmao, so Chikan Tower was also called Hongmao Tower, or Fanzi. At present, Chihkan Tower is also a representative tourist attraction in Tainan.

Anping Castle, known as Relanja City in ancient times, is the oldest castle in Taiwan. Since its founding, it has been the center of Dutch rule over Taiwan and the residence of three generations of the Zheng Dynasty. The buildings of the ancient castle are purely made of red bricks, which reflect the setting sun at dusk and create a beautiful scenery.

Dongxing Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. was opened by a German businessman. It is a very distinctive building and one of the Five Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. in Anping. The building is now the "Anping Foreign Trade Memorial Hall", which displays the history of Anping Port's foreign trade in the past, and also displays some things related to Germany. In the vestibule of the building, there is an open-air restaurant.
