Roofing project is one of the main parts of the housing construction project. It includes both the materials, equipment used in the project and the technical activities such as design, construction, and maintenance carried out; it also refers to the object of the project construction and plays a functional guarantee role. Specifically, in addition to withstanding various loads, roofing projects also need to have the ability to withstand wind, rain, ice, snow and even earthquake damage, as well as to withstand deformation caused by temperature differences and expansion and cracking of the base structure. Therefore, roofing works play a very important role.
Residential building flat roof structural levels mainly include: structural layer, leveling layer, steam insulation layer, thermal insulation layer, waterproof layer, protective layer, etc. It is a systematic project that comprehensively reflects the multifunctional function of the roof. It is mainly divided into formal roof and inverted roof.
formal roof, its structure is generally a thermal insulation layer under the waterproof layer. Because the materials for traditional roof insulation layer are generally selected from slag , expanded perlite , ceramic concrete and other materials. These materials generally have common problems with high water absorption. If they absorb water, the insulation performance will be greatly reduced and cannot meet the requirements of thermal insulation. Therefore, it is necessary to rely on a waterproof layer to prevent moisture from infiltration and ensure the dryness of the thermal insulation layer in order to insulate heat and heat insulation. That's why ordinary insulation roofs have to be made of waterproof layers on the insulation layer, gas barrier layer under the insulation layer, and exhaust holes are set to complicate the structure. This structural method is characterized by the low requirements for insulation material . The insulation layer is not easily damaged after hidden construction. The insulation layer can fully play its role and the waterproof layer is more convenient to repair during later use.
Inverted roof is first laid with a waterproof layer, and then the hydrophobic insulation material is set on the waterproof layer. Such houses have high requirements for thermal insulation materials used, and water-repellent materials with low hygroscopicity and strong weather resistance should be used as thermal insulation layer. Compared with the formal roofing method, this method has the following advantages: 1. Avoid the damage of temperature stress on the waterproof layer, which can prevent the waterproof layer from expanding and contracting, and extend the service life of the waterproof layer. 2. There is a layer of thermal insulation material with good sealing properties on the outside of waterproof material. The insulation layer provides a layer of protection for the waterproof layer, effectively protecting waterproof coil to prevent it from being damaged by external forces. This is a relatively ideal combination. 3. The advantages of simplifying the structure of the inverted roof and reducing the maintenance of the waterproof layer in the later stage are obvious. Therefore, the performance and long-term economic benefits of inverted roofs are recognized and accepted in engineering construction.
Formal roof and inverted roof have their own advantages and disadvantages. The inverted roof can effectively protect the waterproof layer, which relatively solves the problem of roof leakage. The formal roof has the advantages of being more convenient for waterproofing layer maintenance. For which type of roof is selected in the project, it must be comprehensively considered based on the local climate and environmental characteristics, roof functional requirements and raw materials.
